This is a quality unit that definitely made life much easier for me around the shop. Caster wheels & handle make maneuverability almost effortless. It's fully adjustable pan height & I installed a "splash mat" to help prevent "unwanted decorating of laundry", works great as well. With the vinyl sight tube you can monitor oil level & the air pressure assist feature allows off loading contents directly into my waste-oil heater, storage drum or portable container for recycling. I also purchased a "trans pan" with a "splash pad" that fits perfectly atop the original drain pan, and the combination virtually eliminated accidental misses & messes on the shop floor, saving me time, money & embarrassment !..... This unit is definitely worth the cost of admission. Caution: READ the directions & follow them, BEFORE using the "air pressure assist" feature to avoid explaining "how'd this happen" to the wife or burning the evidence !.... My only regret, not buying this unit years ago !

I haven't needed to empty the unit yet, so can't attest to the effectiveness of the pressure transfer system, but the wheel's alone are worthy of praise. The large back wheels and swivel front wheels make getting the unit out of storage and into position and back into storage easy. The mechanism that raises the pan is very sturdy. I'll update if anything changes, but given the size of the tank, I won't be using the pressure transfer system any time soon.

It works great in my service pit for servicing semi trucks AFTER a few tweaks and modifications. First, it's sturdy, solid construction, I was impressed at the metal used for a setup of this price point. Cons: The drain hose is sketchy at best (cheap clear poly hose) and there's no valve, it dribbles all over creation. If you're draining anything with a large oil capacity, you'll want to drill out some of the mesh in the bottom of the funnel, the mesh is fine enough that the oil doesn't filter through very fast....I wound up with 3+ gallons of oil on the floor first use on a semi truck. After that mod, it works great. It may hold 20 gallons, but you can't get all the oil OUT of the reservoir, as the drain fitting is a few inches up the side wall of the tank instead of at or near the bottom. My guess is about 2-3 gallons remain (unless you want to fool around tipping it on it's back while trying to keep the hose in the container). Even after those shortcomings, I have no regrets on this purchase.

I purchased this waste oil change tank on 5/2025 and since it is for home use I did not use it a lot.. It worked fine until today when I tried to move the top large valve to drain the oil from the bowel into the lower tank. It was frozen solid. The unit is stored inside my shop and covered with a plastic bag to prevent debris from entering the bowel. This is the valve that is attached to the brass fitting at the top of the tank. Eight months of infrequent home service should not cause the valve to fail. Don't know if the manufacture can replace the brass fitting with the valve but I sure need help. If the manufacture provides help I will update this review. Update: I was contacted by the seller who asked that we please send additional pictures of the frozen ball valve. With a couple of days time I was shipped a new unit. Customer service does not get any better than this company. They stood by their product and did right by their customer. Thank you again. I will be buying from you in the future.
