Well made and works well. Does discolour slightly due to heat from gas burner, but doesn't affect performance and it's to be expected. It appears to be plain steel so I'd avoid washing unless essential and keep it dry in storage to avoid potential rusting.

Really does reduce the heat onto the pan which is perfect for slow simmering.

Does work fine but allow min 5 mins to heat up evenly.

Simple but effective, distributes the heat nicely.

Works well and diffuses the gas flame nicely. Unfortunately it is inclined to warp. This made pots unstable. Maybe my fault for using it accidentally on too high a gas?

took 20 minutes on my camper gas hob to boil water in my moca coffee pot, does not diffuse the heat well into the pot from the gas flames even at full whack. disapointed in the purchase.

Zuallererst, das Gerät kommt bei einem Raktenofen (BBQ Toro Rakte 3) zum Einsatz. Raketenöfen haben den Nachteil im Zentrum sehr viel Hitze zu liefern (bei mir kommt nur Kokoskohle zum Einsatz) und am Rand der Pfanne dann viel zu wenig, d.h. in der Mitte brennt mir schon alles an und am Rand war im Vergleich nicht viel los. Und die R3 hat eine Lüftung. Ah, ich muss vorwegschicken, dass ich für unsere Nachbarkids öfters Pfannkuchen mache. Geduld ist denen fremd, daher muss es schnell gehen. Leider waren die Pfannkuchen oft in der Mitte fast schon schwarz und am Rand sehr sehr blass. Dann von einer "Prallplatte" gehört. Erst nur als "naja mal probieren" ist ein "gar nicht mehr wegzudenken" geworden. Die Hitzeverteilung ist jetzt traumhaft gut, die Backwaren sind gleichmäßig braun und das auch bei Vollgas. Ich arbeite auch manchmal mit dem Edelstahltopf "doppelwandig" obigen Herstellers und dort war das gleiche Problem beim Anbraten, z.B. für Gulasch. Dort hatte ich das Problem, dass die Mitte eine derartige Anbrennschicht hatte, dass sich bald schon Diamtenn hätten bilden können. Der musste ich dann mit Cearanfeldkratzern zu Leibe rücken, Schwamm ging gar nicht - bei Edelstahl auch nicht schlimm. Aber das Problem habe ich jetzt gar nicht mehr. Vielleicht schluckt die Platte ein paar % Leistung, aber das Gesamtergebnis und vor allem das entspanntere Kochen outdoor ist mir das allemal wert. Leider rostet sie schon, die Beschichtung hat sich schon verabschiedet. Das wird bei einem Gasgrill nicht so schnell passieren. Bei meinem Einsatz, und hier ist Höllenfeuer angesagt, muss sie wortwörtlich durchs Feuer gehen und das tut sie. Darunter leidet dann auch die Beschichtung, aber so ist es an der (Hitze)Spitze. Mal sehen wie lange sie durchhält. Bis jetzt tiptop, nicht verzogen und voll einsetzbar. Kauf ich mir wieder. Definitv.
