Best on the market and well priced
I’ve tried several different cotton, diapers, and I keep coming back to these. Here’s the deal you need to find the right size they run on the bigger side and if you have a baby with hubby legs like most of us, do you really need to order two sizes and see which fits best. If it’s too big, you will get leakage. I have to say I haven’t felt like too small is an issue per se except for the occasional booty popping out if she isn’t wearing fitted pants. This diaper does not leave any cotton residue, which is super important, especially with a girl. She can wear these diapers on Carr rides without a developing a rash. And they don’t smell when it’s full. Overall, I love these diapers. I wish I could find them in the store because I’m terrible at ordering in time. But I highly recommend them, especially for girls.

Why this is now the only diaper we use – from a Wound Care Specialist
This is a bit of a read but stick with me because if you’re reading this then you’re likely a parent of a child in diapers or maybe expecting your first. If that’s the case then it will be worth your time. First – I think this is the first review I’ve ever written on Amazon. I read a ton of them (like everyone) but haven’t felt the inspiration to ever write one until now. My daytime job is in wound care, so helping people with chronic wounds caused by burns, infection, trauma, or many other underlying medical conditions. I think this gives me a bit of a unique perspective when evaluating diapers. My 24-hour a day job is parenting our amazing 11 mo. old. (who only happened after years of IVF…but that’s a story for another day). Probably not surprisingly, when we started researching diapers my number one priority was the health of our kiddo’s skin. So this made me ask 2 questions: 1) How quickly does the diaper remove moisture from the part of the diaper in contact with the skin? 2) How breathable (aka “natural”) are the materials used to make the diapers are. Let’s start with the second point… To say that there is a lot of “greenwashing” (if you haven’t heard this word before, look it up. Very interesting) going on with baby diapers is a huge understatement. When I went down the rabbit hole that is researching “eco-friendly diapers” I discovered an entire world where basically everyone says theirs is the best and the most eco-friendly and have laboratory testing to prove it and they’re all splitting hares (see what I did there) on the details of each individual material. Then you have tons of eco-friendly blogs that review the diapers, but they seem like they’re being paid to do it. Bottom line – diaper brands aren’t legally required to disclose what their diapers are made of, and everyone says theirs are the most pure so there’s no way to be certain which one really is the most eco-friendly. With than in mind, much of my reasoning why Terra is the best option here is empirical because it’s basically impossible to prove so take it with a grain of salt... 1) The company is based in New Zealand. It just seems like culturally New Zealand isn’t as profit-driven as we are. I also really like that they’re legit with their claims… 2) They say they’re 85% plant-based when some others make claims of 100% this or 0% that. Why would you say you’re 85%, which is clearly less than others, unless you were refusing to play the greenwashing game? Back to the first point… This is where they really sold me and the main reason we’re investing (because let’s face it, these are NOT the cheapest option) in our baby’s skin and diapers. I saw a video on Insta from someone I follow, Jamie Grayson, where he did an actual physical side by side test of how much liquid each eco-friendly diaper holds and how QUICKLY the top layer of each diaper dried out. I could not believe how quickly the top layer of the Terra dried out vs all the others. It was literally dry in seconds whereas the other ones were all still wet when the test was done. I don’t know why more people aren’t talking about this because it’s SUCH a critical aspect of keeping skin healthy and avoiding diaper rash and bacteria growth that is common when a baby sits in their wet. This was all I needed to see as a wound care specialist to stop looking, but for more proof just google “moisture and diaper rash mayo clinic” to see what I mean. On top of that, the amount of liquid that the Terra absorbed was waaay more than the others. They talk about this on their Amazon page but the video was way more impactful and it was crazy to see. Since we started using them, we’ve had 2 leaks (but both were because my husband was still working on his diaper changing skills!) and critically, ZERO cases of diaper rash. Bottom Line - In my opinion, Terra is hands down the winner when it comes to the health of our baby’s skin. Hope this was helpful!

Great absorbency and so soft compared to others on the market
I tried these when my regular diapers were out of stock (Nest diapers). I had never heard of this brand but I gave them a try and I’m so glad I did! They are thick, soft, and have so much more flexibility than so many others I’ve tried. True to size too. The only reason I’m not giving them 5 stars is because twice now my daughter has leaked through them by morning. But, she feeds so much at night too. Will be making these my new go-to diapers.

False advertising
Ordered the 8 pack and got 1. The quality of the diapers is amazing but not worth the price.

Softest eco diapers
I was looking for a new diaper when our original diapers we bought went out of business. When you search for Eco diapers so many show up that are truly not eco-friendly with all their dies and cool designs on them. Decided to take a chance on these even though they were some of the most expensive. I'm so glad we chose these diapers because they are the softest diapers and our little one has such sensitive skin. I encourage anybody and everyone to at least give this type of brand a try and you probably won't go back. And if you are worried with the price tag on it I would at least get a set for your child overnight and during long naps and then you can go to cheaper route during the day when you're changing frequently but these are well worth the price and comfort of your little one.! Will now try their other products because of the eco friendly products and how great the diapers came!

Feels great but leaks
To be honest I want to love this diaper bc it feels great and does leave my baby’s bum feeling dryish compared to the other brands but I noticed on more than one account my baby’s pants were damp. At first I thought I had just put the diaper on wrong but it happens more often for that to be the case and it’s not just when I change her diaper. It’s weird bc the diaper itself absorbs a lot but I think it takes a while to absorb which is causing the pee to leak from the sides? Idk what it is but I just wish it wouldn’t leak. If it weren’t for that this would be the best diaper hands down.

Leakers
Like the material and feel of the diaper however, almost every single wet poop has leaked out the side especially if pees at the same time. I think the diaper is not enforced enough on the sides, very thin on edges. Also not a huge fan of how they secure with front pieces going to wrap around and sticky part is way in back, makes a little harder to put on in my opinion.

Great diapers
The size fits perfectly, it does not leak at night and stay in place really well during the day while the baby is active. We love everything about them.

I really tried multiple times but I had leakages every single time after a few hours. I liked the idea of safe and eco friendly diaper… I will try other brands and see.

I have been using these Terra Size 3 nappies and honestly… I am SO impressed 🤍 First of all, the quality is amazing. They are super soft and feel really gentle on baby’s skin — you can tell straight away they’re not like your average nappy. They’re made with plant-based materials, which makes me feel so much better about what’s touching my baby all day 🌿

As a new parent, Terra Diapers are perfect for my newborn’s sensitive skin. They’re ultra-soft, chemical-free, and highly absorbent for both day and night use. I love that they’re 85% plant-based and eco-friendly. No leaks, no rashes—just comfort and peace of mind for me and my baby. Highly recommend!

I really wanted to like these diapers as they are one of the most accessible "non-toxic" diapers in Canada. They also feel incredibly luxurious and soft. However the first night I put my 4 month old in the size 3 (he is 16lbs) I had to change him in the middle of the night ! The diaper fit properly and the leakage did not happen from the legs. The actual diaper itself had soaked through so much that when I put it on the table it left a wet mark. He sleeps roughly 8-10 hours at night and I have never experienced this with the pampers pure diapers. I'm hoping to have more success with ecopea or ecoriginal diapers (Both of which are difficult to get in Canada). Very disappointed given these diapers are nearly 1.00 per diaper! I gave it a 3/5 star because they hold smaller pees during the day well. Unfortunately a wet breastmilk poop will saturate them too :(
