I love polly pockets since I was a child and this one is super cute

We have discovered it as I was searching for Polly Pocket toy for our daughter. As big Friends fans we could not resist of making ourselves a present. It did not disappoint. It has so many details. Even our daughter who has not seen Friends plays with it and says it's much more interesting then her regular Polly Pockets. We don't play with it, but just as with any collectible item, it's fun to look at.

Listen to me when I tell you: this is the cutest thing ever. I got it for my sister's birthday. It speaks to my inner 90s child. Polly Pocket and Friends is the combination you never knew you needed. Do not get this for your kids. Get it for yourself. You deserve the nostalgia that will fill your soul the moment you open it.

As a child of the 80s/90s and a huge FRIENDS fan, there is nothing better than nostalgia colliding. Good quality product with the same annoying quirks as original Polly Pockets. Great attention to detail of the FRIENDS theme.

... I know that it's hard to put too much detail due to the size, but I've had my fair share of Polly Pockets and many of them had random pops of color to make a difference on certain large things like stairs, handles, blowdryers, etc. If you take a look to the Under The Sea Book or the one with the beauty salon, those had a few details painted when they were part of surfaces. The sea book had glitter, even. In this case, large items like the Central Perk counter have ZERO painted details, the sofa is too bright and there's a lack of decoration. When you look in detail you do start to notice some lack of details or how they chose to "make real" something that doesn't make much sense. In Monica's apartment is a random cupboard that pops up out of nothing even though they chose to make real the living room, so why put a random cupboard? The perspective of the sticker makes also everything so weird. In the apartments they lack space, but in Central Perk, there's too much empty space. Also, in Central Perk you are missing Gunther so all of that free coffee must be nice XD. They are missing the ICONIC window with the Central Perk logo and instead is a sticker. I understand that certain things have to be reduced, but in the cafe there was PLENTY of free space to do so. Anyway, It's very nice as a gift if you are a Friends fan, but I feel like more thought should have been put into it. I know it's hard to design these kind of toys, but if you are talking about a COLLECTOR item (like they put in the box), then they should put some collector level effort. In that regard, I would recommend the Lego set a lot more. Central Perk is crazy detailed and is very fun to assemble. When I get some courage, I'll probably mod the toy a little to add those details that really get into my nerves, like the color of the sofa from the cafe XD.
