artufting Gun AK-I Yellow

we’ve bought multiple of these - some of them work fine, but then others perform terribly. they either get sticky (despite being oiled) and don’t cut properly or the on/off switch stops working and the scissors get caught on the guard and break. cheap and not worth the money. buy from reputable people!!

I got this tufting gun in the summertime. It was my first time tufting and it was incredibly easy to jump right in and start making stuff. I came back home for Christmas break and started making some presents, but the pin head broke. This happened about two weeks before Christmas, luckily support reached out and ended up sending me a replacement gun so that I could finish that project. Great service, Great product, and Great Tufting!

This thing works!!! It’s been over a year and still kicking!!!

I just bought this tufting gun about a month ago, so I will come back and update this if I have any issues down the road. So far, I've really liked it! It works exactly as expected and I've made a few rugs without any issues.One thing I will say is that the big plastic rotor inside of it is exposed, when for the most part more expensive guns cover it. I made the mistake of trying to reach around my gun while I was tufting and now have a burn scar on my hand from where the rotor ripped off a good couple inches of skin. Definitely my fault, so I thought I would warn anyone else thinking of buying this gun just in case.

With the tufting cloth stretched taut on my frame, I loaded the tufting gun with a vibrant green yarn, ready to bring this simple design to life.My experience with the tufting gun had been nothing short of delightful. With this tool in my hands, I felt inspired to continue exploring the art of tufting, pushing the boundary of my imagination and creating unique pieces that reflected my artistic vision.
