Worked exactley like I wanted it to.
I have a home brew green house irrigation system. This gives me a local display and touch screen, so I don't have to pull out a phone to control the system. I will be using more of these for outdoor applications as time goes by.

Gave up getting it running.
I like the design, but had trouble turning on the display backlighting. Not sure if the documentation was wrong or if the library file I had was broken or whatever. Exchanged it for a Core 2 (different / more common hardware display) and had it up and running in a few minutes.
