It includes the typical sections on equipment, exposure, composition, filters and special techniques (HDR, panos, etc.). It also includes chapters on post processing and printing which are typically overlooked by many books in this genre. The use of color calibration of monitors and soft proofing images prior to printing can save amateur photographers time, money and frustration. They are techniques that are readily available, but which are unknown or unused by many. Finally, Chapter 10 provides several “Creative Assignments” which challenge readers to utilize the information that was presented in the book.
