REPTIZOO Reptile Light Fixture with Dimming Thermostat

I bought this for my beardies enclosure. I tested out so many. This one I like because it gives you the current temperature inside then you program it to how high you want it to reach. The only drawback is if your room is a bit chilly it doesn’t reach close to temp, but during the summer. It has no problem and it works the way it should. So it have out my bearded dragon to sleep lol. I did thought buy a second one for my other rescue Beardie. I just put an extra heat lamp on both of them.

Really awesome light fixtures! I bought one for my brooder while raising day old chicks, I soon needed to add a second brooder, so I needed another light and came right back here to purchase one more! It’s so much better to set the temp (which drops each week they get older), to ensure they are acclimating to the warmth or lack thereof appropriately to be ready to move outside to their coop without heat once they are fully feathered. The only thing I will suggest to anyone considering purchasing for chicks is be sure to position the temperature probe in a place they can’t all huddle and sleep on top of, or the prove will read so high the light won’t come on. Not a huge deal just suspend it above then some. I will absolutely point anyone in this brand’s direction when raising chicks! Nice job! A+ rating: durability, ease of use, dimmability, value for money!

I have been using these lamp fixtures for about a month and I’ve been really pleased. I have tested them with a surface temp gun and ambient thermometer and the gauges appear to work well for heat regulation. I am using them with Arcadia heating bulbs (which just barely fit) and have had no issues with the dimming functionality. I also appreciate the small form factor. These fixtures are narrow enough at the lamp opening that I can put them close to each other to concentrate heat in a smaller basking area. My only suggestion for improvement would be an on off switch. Unless I’ve missed it, there is no way to shut these off. I fixed that problem by using a Kasa smart power strip to plug them in and can use the switch on the power strip to turn on and off, as well as setting a timer for automatic on/off. I would recommend this product. Just a quick update - it's almost a year and a half since I started using these and they still work perfectly.

Perfect light fixture to go with the ceramic emitting bulbs. I fastened it to the animal enclosure and it keeps the whole place warm.

Works like it’s supposed to. I like the thermostat and the thermometer probe is easy to place. Turtle loves it. Good light quality. I just wish there was a way to turn it off without unplugging it. Right now it’s plugged into a separate timer so it turns off automatically after 12ish hours, but before that we had to unplug it every time. I can’t set it down on top of anything if I want to get into the tank without unplugging the lamp because the probe isn’t there and the hot light will scorch the table or book or whatever I set it on.

Great value. Highly recommended from Leo Gecko Groups. This is our second one due to a faulty bulb. We love the auto adjusting features. Keeps our guy nice & toasty all day long.

It worked very well when I first set it up. Suddenly, it won’t go higher than 26 Celsius, while being set at 32 Celsius. Still haven’t been able to get it to switch to Fahrenheit .. also, I can’t just “ship it back” because I don’t have a back up and my snake needs some sort of warmth, even if this isn’t warm enough. This is kind of ridiculous. I’m not very happy. Also, the number blinks at all times on the thermometer, not sure if that’s supposed to happen, but it does.

Had this 6 months and it works perfectly for my hedgehog cage.
