Chicken Soup for the Preteen Soul: Stories of Changes, Choices and Growing Up for Kids Ages 9-13 Review: “It’s pretty good mom” - Got this for my son. He says “it’s pretty good mom. There’s some pretty neat stories.”😂 that’s a hit in tween Review: My 10 yr old is loving this book - We're on the friendship section and some of the stories are a tad old for her, but she still loves the message of each one. This is such a transitional age and this book is perfect for helping understand the issues girls go through moving from grade school into middle and then high school. I'm dreading the drama of it all, but doing whatever I can to help prepare her for the big feelings. Mamas (and dads!), get this book!

very inspiring
I was amazed at what all these young kids could do.some might say the stories are sad or depressing but they have a great meaning to them that inspired me to be a better person.

My 9yo loves it!
She says it’s her favorite book. She’s reread many of the stories and tells people what she reads. It really makes her think deeply and about others. Highly recommend.

Couldn't have loved it more!
My daughter absolutely loved this book! It was a Christmas gift and to be completely honest we weren't sure how it would go over but she read it front to back and she's picked it up here and there to read Parts again since she finished it. She said she wishes that everyone in her class would read it to. There were definitely some parts that tug on the heartstrings, as is common with chicken soup books, but she highly recommends it to everyone and even took it all the way to the final bracket of a "Best Books" tournament in her school.

My son and I read this together a few nights a week and it is very good to be able to talk about the story and relate to our own lives.

A book that I hope will help my daughter get through the difficulty of growing up in a world that isn't always as kind and fair as we'd hope.
