Makes it easy to add second monitor to older Microsoft Surface
My old Surface PC has a two USB ports, one USB 2 and one C. With a mouse/keyboard using the USB 2 port this adapter adds that one back and extends the original C port so it's still usable. The HDMI port works fine on a Dell 2317H display.

Best one so far 10k+ photos and still going
Please do not buy this piece of crap. It does not connect mid sale. You will fail. It does not charge. It does not tether without charging. It does not charge. What they are selling is a lie you know how you’re in the middle of a sale and then you want to transfer photos and you are tethering to your iPad. Well this piece of junk fails every single time you can disconnect it plug it back in. It will fill every single time. This is personal street photography experience.q trapped by this BS product

Cheap way to port video from my computer to an external tv
I wasn't really sure if this would work but was very happy that it does. I am using this just as a cheap way to get video out of my editing computer and send it to an external tv. Works great.

I wish I could give it no stars. I was looking into this docking station so I can use two monitors with my MacBook Air. I made sure it was compatible and had all the correct HDMI. Well, upon receiving the item, the first week was amazing. I took a break from using it for 2 weeks, and then I turned it back on. That's when the issues started to happen. I went through all the Reddit forums and YouTube channels and even tried to reach out to the company for support, and nowhere on the website could I find it. One of my monitors keeps flickering on and off for about 2-3 seconds. Then if I close my laptop and just use the two monitors, they both turn off for about 3-7 seconds. I've updated the software and uninstalled and installed it again. Nothing is helping. Wish I could return the item, but I live overseas and can't mail from my post office at a military installation. Update: They have offered me a refund, so thats extremely helpful. Thank you Abiwazy
