The entire course is invariably very wet every single day - due to either rain or heavy dew. Tried many other brands of shoes, but they ALL start to leak after a few weeks, leaving the socks soaking wet and the feet cold and uncomfortable. All I needed was a waterproof shoe. These Dawgs are made of rubber, with molded joints, so they do the job to perfection. My socks are always 100% dry. The spikes are also fixed, not screwed on, so no chance of leakage there either.The size is a bit smaller than standard. I usually take 7-1/2 with thick socks; bought these in 8 and can only wear them with thin socks. Being made of rubber, they tend to pull in your socks if you walk the course. Which means I have to keep pulling them up every couple of holes. But these are small inconveniences. Also, they are not as comfortable as shoes made of leather or mesh, but one can easily walk 18 holes in them. The (fixed) spikes don't wear out as quickly as most other rubber spikes. All in all, a great shoe for the amateur golfer who walks his rounds on a very wet course. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Easy on the wallet, Hard on the foot *by M***. on June 8, 2017* Golf shoes tend to be expensive and since I'm just getting back into the game after ten years, I didn't want to spend a lot. The DAWG's are really affordable. I used them last weekend and I needed to use a shoe-horn to get them on. They were very narrow and at first uncomfortable, but after a while they began to loosen up. The length of the shoe was fine so I don't think ordering a size up would've helped. One benefit is that these shoes are like Crocs. We played in the rain last weekend and my feet stayed dry. I've been stretching them out this week by stuffing them with newspaper and heating with a hairdryer. This method works on leather shoes so maybe it'll help these. I'll try them a few more times and hopefully they'll become more comfortable. I don't think I'd buy another pair, but they are good enough for the price. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Superlite golf shoes *by A***D on July 5, 2011* These are the most comfortable and lightest golf shoes I've ever worn. I have a neuropathy which makes walking painful for me. By putting a comfort insert into these shoes, I created the best fully cleated shoe I've tried. The only rival is the non cleated True Links shoe worn by Ryan Moore. I have these, but they cost $159. The Dawgs are fully waterproof. The lack a little lateral stability, but that helps me by centering my balance as one should. I've bought 3 pair now, including a non cleated version for everyday wear. They are true to size and a great value at $35-45.
