I tried this vegan vanilla protein powder after my previous one seems to no longer be sold. This tastes amazing and I love the ingredient list. My body digests it well, and it is great for mixing into baked recipes. Where I have a couple of issues are actually huge detracting factors. In smoothies, it stays very gritty. I can get over this, but my previous vegan protein disappeared, so it is disappointing for this to be so gritty. Also, the packaging is atrocious. When you open the bag, the powder is packed into the zipper closure. I spent a lot of time trying to tap and brush the powder out so I could close the bag, but it will not seal. After I had powder everywhere and wasted a bunch of time, I gave up and transferred it to a glass container. There has to be a better closure for this bag because my last brand’s zipper closure worked beautifully.

Honestly, I NEVER leave product reviews but felt like I should for this one. I’ve been getting Promix vegan protein for almost a year now. And yeah, vegan protein is never the best. This one seemed like the best choice of the bunch. It didn’t make my stomach hurt, it was a great amount of protein for the macros, and the flavor was overall okay. I don’t know if they recently changed their recipe or what happened. But my last batch doesn’t discover in water at all. The texture is literally like drinking sand mixed with water. It’s absolutely insane. I was a ride or die for this protein before but this last batch has me thinking I need to find yet another brand that is going to be better.

It tastes OK, but it's definitely a protein powder taste/texture. The packaging is not great; I had to excavate the scoop and there's so much powder in the zip area that it can't be closed. Very messy. I decanted into a different container and counted only 32 scoops, not 37, so I guess it compacted; maybe weigh your portions. It has made my stomach hurt both times I tried it even though I only started with half a scoop to get used to it, so I guess it's just not for me personally, but that might not be an issue for others.

Taste is okay. Definitely tastes chalky but you get used to it. However, the packaging is the worst. When you first open the bag, Protien powder just explodes out, and the seal does not work at all. Wondering how I can keep it stored and safe without it spilling everywhere. Disappointed especially for the price.

I have tried a gazillion vegan, gf protein powders and cannot say more nice things about this one. It tastes delicious....not too sweet and zero chalky after taste. I had the hardest time digesting even the best quality whey protein, so I was worried yet another protein powder would cause problems. I tried other brand of pea protein and pumpkin seed protein, and they were so so. Flavor got old quickly and the ingredients of other pea protein included a lot of filler ingredients I wanted to avoid. Right away with Promix, the bloating stopped. I felt satisfied but not stuffed. The amount of protein is perfect for me, and I feel stronger than ever. My 14-year-old has just discovered my stash and is now loving it too. I read lots of reviews before I purchased this protein powder and was almost about to try a different brand, but I loved the clean aspect of the ingredients and ignored the nay sayers. There will always be some. The price is very comparable to many other brands on the market, so evaluating based solely on taste and quality...I give it an A+. Try it. You will not regret your purchase!!!
