I just installed these today and so far I like the amount of light they put out. We shall see how long they last. These are LED lights so hopefully they will last longer than my previous ones.

These are awesome little lights! I installed them on my fence and I like that they shine outward instead of straight down. They came with a plastic template to use for drilling the screws in and that made installation a breeze! I don’t know exactly how long they stay on but no matter how many hours after dark when I look outside they are still on. They also seem to have deterred a raccoon that had been coming into my yard. I liked them so well I ordered more.

Good:- Motion sensing is strong. I installed one at the end of a driveway that's about 30-40 ft from the street. It activates with minimal motion from us, and it also turns on regularly when a car drives by. Also senses 180 degrees well.- Brightness is good. It's enough to light the dark driveway and the the pitch black backyard at night.- The ability to angle the lights is great for coverage.- Installation was pretty easy. You install a bracket to a wall then slide the light onto the bracket. Great if you need to replace a light and don't want to go through reinstallation. You just have to slide in the new one. Hopefully, I won't need a replacement for a long time.- It's solar. There are no other expenses until they need replacement. Again, hopefully not needed for a long time.Things to consider:- Battery life is limited. For motion sensing and short quick bursts of lighting, I think the battery would work throughout the night. If the light stays on for an extended amount of time when the sensor is continually being triggered (when we're hanging out in the backyard, for example), then the battery will not last for long. This is happened with the unit that has direct sun exposure throughout the day. It makes sense - the battery is probably not the biggest to keep it light and inexpensive. For our purposes, as a passive security feature for our home, it's perfect.- It's light weight because it's plastic. It's all plastic. Not an issue for me, but sharing in case you care about that.- The light isn't huge. Check the measurements. As stated, the lights are bright enough, but if you want really large, glaring lights, these are not the ones you want.

Works well

The media could not be loaded. Light quality is good for what i needed. I just wanted a subtle glow around my yard. Easy mounting and adjustment capability. Solar powered so it holds a charge for a majority or the night till dawn. I wish i had more color options but its ok. The functionality outweighs the color options. Will be buying more for back yard.

Overall we are happy with the lights. However, it would be helpful if the product came with a template to make mounting a little easier. Right out of the box all lights worked well. They provided nice lighting in our backyard by the pool. They lasted from sundown to almost morning, initially. Then they started losing time and within 3-4 months half the lights stopped working entirely. (the warranty is only for 30 days) I assumed it was the batteries. I just recently took one apart to check the battery and ordered replacements for ALL the lights. They also claim the housings are stainless steel, yet after four months there is rust showing. The battery housing is held together with very tiny screws, fortunately I have some precision ones that made the job easier. After my new batteries arrive and are replaced I may re-visit my review.

Second update (05/18/20): Another afternoon thunderstorm here in Tampa, and both of the lights have stopped detecting movement. They are fully charged, getting plenty of sun exposure on a daily basis. The on-off switch turns the lights on, but movement does not work the lights. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE PURCHASE of these lights except in desert areas where a driving rain is rarely experienced. Do not buy these lights if you anticipate rain storms that will get these units wet. DO NOT BUY this product. In my original update, I asked to hear from the vendor. They have chosen to not respond to a complaint of defective product.Update (04/28/20) I wrote the original review several days ago after I installed one of these lights at my front door. It worked perfectly, The next morning we had a thunderstorm with high winds here in Florida, which is typical weather for us year round. The next night, the light would not turn on in response to a person walking in front of the motion sensor. After 24 hours it was more responsive but much less sensitive to movement than when originally installed. Tonight it is working as it had when first installed. I am assuming that water got in somewhere and caused a malfunction in the motion sensor. If this happens every time we have a rainstorm, this light will be a useless outdoor ornament mounted over my front door, since during the rainy season, we get thunderstorms almost every evening. If the manufacturer has any suggestions I would be interested in hearing them. The light I installed under an eve near the malfunctioning light continued to work well. Apparently whatever went wrong with the one light did not happen to the other light. I look forward to hearing from the vendor with something besides TOO BAD, SO SAD. In this 'Stay at home' environment, going to UPS to return this item is not going to happen.They worked right out of the box. I followed instructions and put them out in the sunshine for a whole day. Imounted one at my front door to illuminate the steps up to our porch and one on an eve to light an area where visitors park their cars. The sensor detects movement over a wide area. The light is very bright and covers a large area.I am very pleased with this purchase and I am glad that both of mine worked from the start. I will edit this review, over time, if these lights fail. In the past my solar lights have failed because the little bubble of plastic over the movement sensors deteriorated and the lights stopped responding. I am hoping that these don't suffer from the same issue. The Florida sun chews up plastic.
