Great edge from this sharpner
This is the second one we have bought for a member of our family as they were most impressed with our one which we have had for 2 years and still gives a lovely edge . The beauty is you can secure it to a worktop so that it does not move around There is a vacuum suction cap on the bottom just hold it to the surface and pull a small lever and it feels like it is glued on . Highly recommend it to anyone

Plastic body, not like old metal one.
Bought to replace an old AnySharp, the sharpening parts having seemed to lose their effectiveness. Old one had a metal body with a solid, quality feel. New one uas a plastic body, weighs almost nothing and feels very cheap (but not cheaper to buy). Obviously sharpening parts having seemed is new and effective so hope this can last a few years. I guess I could always put the new sharpening edges onto the old body (looks like a matter of simply undoing 2 screws. This item is rated higher than most for effectiveness so would probably still purchase even if I knew the body was made from cheaper materials

Not that great
It's not that good. Yes it sharpens slightly but not enough to cut a potato with ease.

Took a little more force, than i thought it would, but it did the job. My knives are all sharp again ;)
