A: Yes, go for XL. I was between sizes so got the larger and put strips of felt under the inner headband, which worked well.

This hat is the most stunning quality, especially considering the price. Arrived in immaculate condition and packaged perfectly. It is a teensy bit too big and I had firstly ordered the smaller size as I have a self proclaimed pin head! The smaller one is a teensy bit too small. I was going to return the smaller one but in the end I couldn't part with it as it is so lovely. I will turn it into a nice costume accessory at some point in the future.
