I used double sided fabric tape and placed this on the lining of the shorts in a few of my athletic dresses and it was perfect to stop the shorts from riding up!

I recently purchased the Wide Non-Slip Elastic Ribbon Wave Silicone Elastic Gripper Band Tape for a DIY project to create over the knee socks by repurposing a pair of tights. I’m quite pleased with this product, as it performed well for my needs, though it did have a few characteristics I hadn’t anticipated. The elastic band is notably thicker and more robust than I expected, which initially surprised me. I had envisioned a slightly lighter material, assuming it would be more delicate for such a project. However, the material feels high quality and sturdy, ensuring it holds up well during wear and doesn’t fray or stretch out excessively over time. One of the standout features is the small silicone ribbing integrated into the band. This thoughtful design element makes a big difference, as it helps the elastic grip the skin gently but effectively, keeping the socks securely in place without slipping down. This was a major plus, as it ensured the socks stayed up comfortably throughout the day without needing constant readjustment. Crafting tape works great to put inside of pants, jeans etc., while keeping clothing from slipping & sliding around.

My biker shorts are always riding up at the gym so I bought this and sewed it around the inside edge of each leg. What a difference! Now any cute biker shorts can be worn for high intensity workouts and I'm not tugging them down after each squat or bout on the rower.

Wish this were on a thin fabric, not elastic. That's why 3 stars. I needed to sew into corset bra and straps to keep things in place. Breasts larger than an" A " cup won't stay in the cup part of the corset, and will slip down out of that part, even if tightly closed. I'm dancing in my corsets, have at least a "C" cup, so I came up with idea of putting silicone along the bottom on the cups and on the straps. It works, but I don't need the elastic. Again, I want a product that does not seem to exist. This worked, but cost me more money and was more difficult to do with heavy elastic.

These days all lounge pants come with elastic waste bands or draw strings. Fine to hold themselves up but NFG if you load your pockets and try to take out the trash in front of your neighbors. Enter the helper that gripps a tucked-in T shirt. Ta-Da!
