I recently picked up the Samyang Buldak Hot Sauce, the one that claims to bring that fiery Korean spicy chicken flavor straight to your table. And guess what? It does not disappoint! First off, if you’ve ever slurped down a pack of Buldak ramen and thought, “Man, I wish I could pour this goodness all over everything,” then this is the sauce for you. It has that same mouthwatering taste that’ll have you questioning how you ever lived without it. Seriously, I found myself lamenting over bland meals I’ve had in the past—like why did I not just dump this magic elixir onto my soggy veggies?! The price? Oh boy, it’s such a steal! I mean, when you find something that can spice up your life (and your food) at a price that doesn’t require a second mortgage, you know you’ve hit the jackpot. The flavor is fabulous. It strikes that perfect balance between “I might need a glass of milk” and “I could eat this on anything.” I even drizzled it on my breakfast eggs, and let me tell you, my morning just leveled up to a whole new universe. Did I need to rinse my mouth out with ice cream afterward? Maybe. But it was worth every drop! I've seen a lot of people online use this, so I kind of got sucked into the hype, but I like it a lot. It's very tasty, and it has a distinct spicy ramen quality type of flavor to it. It's good, and has a nice medium heat to whatever I put it on. So far, I've liked it most with soups and noodles. Would recommend giving it a try. Since it's chicken flavored as well, it adds a nice kind of meat flavor to your noodles, even if you don't have any in there, which is an added bonus.

I am a hot sauce lover, like I will sometimes drink the stuff straight so I can handle heat. That being said, this sauce is just as spicy as the sauce packet that comes with the noodles so you should only be using a small amount. I like to do it by a few drops and taste to see if I would like it hotter or not. No more than 1/4-1/2 tsp per one serving of rice or noodles is in my opinion plenty. I'm not sure about the people saying they don't get many uses out of it. The sauce is small but lasts me for months with consistent use. I don't use it every day though. There are many applications that the sauce can be enjoyed, but I like to use it on rice, noodles, when I get Chinese food, instant ramen like Maruchan or Nissin, on burgers, and some kinds of soup. The consistency is thinner than what you get in the packets with the ramen, which isn't an issue for me, so don't go heavy-handed with the sauce. This is a worthwhile purchase for anyone who wants spice and flavor in their condiments.

Taste is good but a little goes a long way for me. I can enjoy it but have to use the tiniest amount because this stuff is definitely hot. Thicker than other hot sauces, more oily than watery or vinegary when it comes to hot sauce.

First off Im going to walk you thru the different levels of Scoville I feel this hits at. Even though they mention it’s about 4404 scoville units. It’s starts off like 10k and you get that instant scalp sweat and possibly in the next 2 mins or so a single drop down the forehead. But don’t worry as your taste buds acclimate, you then truly start to enjoy what this sauce has to offer. I feel like you just have to give it a minute for your mouth to realize that although it’s spicy it’s consistent and just the right kick for almost any dish. I flipping put this stuff on every thing !!

Delicious and tastes just like the packet that comes with the ramen! Definitely spicy but that’s of course what I love most about it.
