Q: I need something that will hold a little bigger round. What is the next size up?

You do not mention what size cartridge you need it for. I reload and shoot .45-70 Springfield with Round Nose 405gr bullets and they fit just fine. I also reload and shoot both .577 Snider and .577-.450 Martini-Henry which are too large for the MTM 50, so I use the MTM RF 22 which hold 22 rounds instead of 50, but are just as rugged, and well built.

Q: What does the label say on the top of the all-green case, currently listed for $7 each? Can you confirm it is an 'RL-50 Rifle Large'?

HOwdy, the one I have listed says ( R-50 series ) molded in to top of the box. However the barcode sticker says RL-50-10. Hope this helps

Q: Will this hold 30-40 Krag rounds?

mtm has charts for sizes on web , but this should work fine for 30-40

Q: How well does a 30.30 cartridge fit?

Not sure about the 30.30 but the 7mm mag does not fit unless you flip it upside down, the height is good but the size of each slot is small
