This item will always get 5 stars from me. I’ve got long, thick, frizzy, and wavy hair and I live in a humid area. This bond repair bar is a life changer for my hair. I shampoo my hair first, rinse, and then apply this bar to my hair and let it sit for at least 10 minutes while I finish my shower routine. What I’ve learned is the longer you leave it on the softer your hair will feel. After rinsing the bond repair hair mask out at the end of my shower, my hair feels so soft and hydrated and I can barely feel and see my split ends anymore! I also feel that this mask helps control some frizz as well. It works so well! This bar typically lasts me 2-3 months since I use it once a week. It is very high quality and at about a $12 price point, it’s a great deal! It doesn’t not leave my hair feeling sticky or waxy either! The bar itself is 2.5 inches both ways and is a little over an inch thick. The scent is also very pleasant. This is by far one of the best Kitsch products.

I typically spend a LOT of money on hair products because I'm trying to grow hair that was previously over processed from too many highlights, and about a year ago a stylist chemically burned a lot of my hair off with bleach. I'm also older so growing hair back takes more time and effort than it used to. Ugh. Anyway, I've spent maybe thousands by now on product lines like aveda, K18, Olaplez, and kerastase and this is now my absolute favorite and most effective bond repair product ever. I never feel any immediate repair from olaplex or k18, and have even tried the expensive L'Oréal equivalent products which smell like wet dog mixed with vanilla air freshener. The worst! Yech. But using this 1-2 times a week is like magic; my hair feels stronger, silky and soft and just way more resilient. My stylist has commented on how much growth I've seen and how much healthier and shinier my hair seems to be (I've also laid way back on bleaching because I've realized I can't have both blonde hair and ample hair; at my age I just have to choose one. But it's great knowing I don't have to spend 60 bucks to get immediate results that I can truly detect, vs hypothetical results that always left my hair feeling just as brittle as before I used the product (like k18). Keeping a stockpile of this stuff.

I just used this for the first time last night and I ABSOLUTELY love this stuff! I have extremely damaged hair from 20+ years of dying it and usually have to use oils and leave in conditioners after my shower. I left if in for the 10 minute's, rinsed and wrapped it in a towel to dry a little. I didn't use any after product and could feel the difference instantly. It was so soft!! Once I blow dried it, it left my hair super soft and the friz wasn't outta control. I will continue using this indefinitely

Lots of things to say: I used it for the first time today and I do feel that my hair is a little bit softer. I have very curly hair, Shirley Temple style but it’s also very long. I still have a regular amount of frizz like I always do, but I do appreciate the easy application using this hair mask. The shampoo and conditioner bars in this brand tend to be a little difficult to apply because they don’t froth or lather at all. This didn’t lather, but you were able to get a lot off of the bar each time you rubbed it in your hands. However, that does mean that it’s probably going to run out pretty quickly. The thickness is the same amount as the shampoo and conditioner bars. I’m not too crazy about the smell, but at least it’s not very strong. I think it’s OK value for money depending on how my hair feels with continued use I might buy again. I think it was decently effective for one application.

I can’t say enough good things, great things about this product. Have been using it now for three months, and it is actually performing as it claims. The texture, softness, and shine are phenomenal, there is absolutely no greasiness, leaving my hair, feeling and smelling clean (even underneath my hair at the neck of the neck?). I don’t think I’ll go back to anything over-the-counter again, especially with all of the OTC types of chemicals that are put into the shampoos/conditioners. I wish there were more varieties, but I love them all, and it is actually working.

Amazing product! I used on my 5y old daughter twice and on my once. Her hair feels so soft, with more volume and more body. On my hair I used as conditioner, leaving for 3min and even with just one use I feel the difference. I’ll try more products from this brand!

This mask makes my hair feel good but very soft. I have very fine, flyaway hair so I need more body, not more softness. It smells good and feels good on my scalp, but makes my hair difficult to hold a style.
