I love this kettle it brews water so fast and we love to watch it boil into a tornado at the end. It’s easy to use and it makes just enough water for two people. Also if there is not enough water for two people it’s quick enough to brew more without waiting too long. I would recommend this kettle to other people who are looking for a good regular kettle to boil water.

I have been using this kettle for over three years. It's nice looking. It's efficient. It's easy to clean because the top opens fully, which is not the case with many of these electric kettles. It works beautifully still, but I'm replacing it because of its one flaw. The shape of the base is unlike any of my previous electric kettles. The rounded edges of the base make it a little difficult to seat the kettle. While they definitely add to its nice appearance they are also responsible for the difficulty in seating the kettle onto the base, especially when it's full. Now, I've lived with this for over three years, so the flaw can't be that bad. However I'm having shoulder surgery that will make me one-handed for a while and I NEED my tea! I like this kettle and it has been good-looking and well functioning since the day I got it. I felt that I should let everybody know about this little flaw in case it is an issue for them. I am short, so I have to hold my arms higher than most people to seat the kettle. Since my arms are higher to seat it, the weight of the water also plays into this. The idea of being temporarily one-handed has sent me back to Amazon to buy another kettle. Don't worry, I'll give this to one of kids so it won't go into the dumpster. They're much taller than I am.

This kettle is useful because it quickly heats up water. You can see and hear the water boiling, and when the water's boiling rapidly it shuts off automatically. It is easy to use, the plastic handle protects my hand from the heat. I think this device is well designed. It is very easy to fill up the kettle and put it on its base where it will heat up water. You can tell when you start it up because the blue light comes on.

I received my new kettle today and it was easy to clean before use. It boils water quickly and has an automatic shut-off feature, which my wife appreciates. I tend to forget about boiling water and leave the kettle running dry, so this feature is a big plus for us. We like the size of the kettle as it has a 1.7 litre capacity (equivalent to 7 cups) and it also has a locking lid. Overall, we are very pleased with our purchase.
