Not for me! Uncomfortable and did not stay in place. Now just a bit of useless plastic in my bathroom cabinet.

This shield is supposed to be single use, so would be expensive at £10, but for a person using it multiple times if well cleaned, I can see that it would be worth the money. For me, I struggled to get this to fit, I thought it may come in handy as my husband does my bikini line for me and I worry about his accuracy with the hot wax (yes, it is very brave of me to let him "down there" with the wax!) For me, it just didn't want to stay in place, following the instructions it was a little too large and didn't fit me well.

I received this item via the vine programme. Here is my honest and unbiased review. Not since the she wee have I had to think about the effectiveness of a 'down there' product. Smaller than I thought, or over estimated, yet fits well, and while not uncomfortable, it prefer life without it. Saying that though, it is really very effective at protecting some of the more delicate areas down there while waxing, shaving, or similar. I am glad I have this and will use it. An amazing product that i never even thought i could need, but now it is a vital part of 'the regime'!!! 4 stars!

What a clever and totally ingenious product, I love this! At first sight I thought 'this in no way is going to fit where I need to put it', it looked like it would be way to small, but it did fit and very perfectly too! In all the years I have been removing hair, using a cream hair remover, I have gone to great lengths to try to avoid getting the hair removing cream onto my most intimate areas and none of them have been completely successful, that is until this clever little gadget came along! The VA J-J visor/shield does the job absolutely perfectly. I have read other reviewers mention that the shield won't stay in place on its own and that you have to hold it in place with your hand, all I can say to this is I don't think they have positioned the shield correctly, it takes a little practice but if you ensure the back part of the shield goes, ever-so-slightly towards the back area of your body, just where your bum cheeks start, the shield will stay exactly where you place it, you can even stand up from a lying position and it won't move around or drop off. This is exactly what I needed for the purpose I ordered it for, I can apply the cream without worry, wait for it to work, then step into the shower to rinse off all without fears that the cream may have gone where I didn't need it to be! The current price of £9.99 might sound expensive for a small piece of plastic but the effort that must have gone into bringing this to market, in my view makes it worth every penny. I don’t go to salons to get waxed but I can appreciate I would want to cover up my bits somewhat if I did. However, I do use a bikini trimmer at home and I had hoped this might allow me to get the job done a bit quicker by not having to be so cautious. It seems from the reviews that it works for some and not for many others. Unfortunately, it didn’t work for me. It had no staying power even when I tried many times to get the air out by pinching the raised area. It would absolutely be more of a hindrance than anything. I have had to bin it sadly.

Not big enough for me personally, also very expensive at £9.95 when you are advised to only use it once in an environment such as a spa. However, it does say it can be reused by one person if hygienically cleaned. So is the advice for one use actually in reference to ensuring it is not shared between several people which makes more sense. Like I stated though, not big enough to protect my intimate area, though may be too large for others. Hard to actually know without testing.

Every time I shaved with a shaving cream I was wishing for a product like this because it is really difficult/impossible to stop the cream going into places it shouldn't while at the same time getting it everywhere needed. So I was happy when I found this, it's too expensive for a little plastic but it was exactly what I was looking for. But..it didn't live up to expectations. It was easy to put and it sayed in place, since I was not moving. While it protected the inner labia, which is great, it does not protect the space between inner and outer labia, so I still had to be careful and couldn't properly shave that area. Another issue is that it was too long for me, it also covered the area between the two holes, so I had to shave that part afterwards - it would be good if it came in sizes, at least two.

I use this when using bikini Nar. It does have a slight learning curve and I make it work by pinching the sides in before placing it on the inner lady parts then releasing. It is a bit large in size so it doesn’t fit my size the best but when I purchased there was just the large size I got. It does get the job done but I have to adjust to make it work.

You can go and let someone rip hair out of your skin with wax or you can use a soothing and gentle dilatory to remove the hair from your personal parts without damage or irritation. Love it! Once to place it stays seated until I remove it. It can be cleaned thoroughly and reused. I recommend.
