They don't mention the overheat protection kicks in pretty early and begins to step down so as not to overheat and damage anything. It comes in Pretty close to 2000 lumens at startup but settles in at just under a consistent 400 lumens at 10 mins runtime. Of course, if you just turn off and back on, it'll go right back to turbo!
