Another great product by this company. Makes my dry skin smooth and leaves it moisturized for the day. Recommended.

Not worth the price. The smell is terrible and I don’t see any difference. I use daily after a shower. The crème is rich but honestly I think this only got hype due to a celebrity sharing her experience. You can find something similar for way cheaper.

This cream left an unpleasant smell on my skin. It had the scent of an expired lotion versus the marzipan fragrance I am used to with the other products in the line. I wasn't able to find an expiration date anywhere on the product to know how fresh it was when I received it.

My heavy glass jar of LE PRUNIER Plumbody Body Creme arrived in a nice box with attractive graphics. There is a lot number on the bottom (also appearing on the bottom of the jar), but there is no expiration date or date of manufacture. The box also indicates that the product is made in the USA and is cruelty free as well as PETA approved. Directions for use are also shown along with a full list of ingredients. The simply designed jar also shows directions for use. Neither the box nor jar arrived sealed, but I did not see any evidence of either having been opened. The creme is unscented, but there is a slight fragrance that is reflective of the ingredients. Unless one is looking specifically for such a thing, it is not noticeable at all. The product is thick but not overly dense and is pleasant to apply. I used it on my entire body after putting a small amount on my wrist the night before to check for allergic reactions, of which I experienced none. The creme is very hydrating, and I do not notice any remnants of my normally dry skin even on this cool day in the northeast. Add to the cool temperatures the dry, forced-air heat inside my home. While very hydrating, the creme does not leave any stickiness and does not feel overly heavy. It is just hydrating. Since applying the creme, I have washed my hands twice. I still have not felt the need to apply more creme to my hands, which I would normally do after each handwashing. To sum up my experience, I will say that I do like this creme very much and will enjoy using it. I am an elderly female and love putting cremes and lotions on my face and body. While not a lot of product is needed to produce good results, I just do not feel, at this point, that I would pay such a high price for a body creme. Time will tell, because I still have a lot of product left to enjoy. I would, however, highly recommend this as a lovely and special gift for that lovely and special person.

While this is really a great moisturizer I had to give four stars because of the price and also the smell. The first thing I noticed when I opened the jar was a bit of a musty smell. I guess given the price I was expecting a wonderful, spa like scent. Fortunately though once you put the cream on you really can’t detect any scent. This moisturizer isn’t as thick and creamy as I thought it would be, but it is very hydrating and moisturizing. It’s a little on the thinner side, but it does spread well and absorbs quickly into your skin. This is supposed to be an all over body cream, but given the price if I use this every day on my whole body, I would run through the jar very quickly. I decided to try this on my neck since I’m getting crepey skin there. I put it on before bed and when I woke up the skin on my neck did appear smoother. Of course throughout the day the crepey skin did return. I’ve been using this about a week now but I know you have to use a skin care product for some time before noticing a more permanent improvement. I’m hoping over time the crepey skin will improve. So while I do think this cream does work I’m not sure I could use it all over on a daily basis given the price.

I was really excited for this body cream because I was looking for a product that is really hydrating. The scent is very strong. I could smell it in my room even hours after I opened the tub. It isn't a bad smell but it is very strong. It was like the scent got stuck in my nose and I sneezed a lot. A strange thing. The creme itself is very thick and luxurious. The packaging is beautiful and heavy and feels very expensive. I am torn. I don't mind the feeling but I am not sure that I care for the strength of the scent.
