Went offshore fishing and caught some skipjack with these. Hooks stand great!

Best value bait you can buy for .50 each, period. Bass, pickerel and crappie love these. Have not tried them in salt yet but Im sure they catch. They are tougher than many other comparable style baits and I caught a lot of fish with one bait before splitting apart, but these were mostly non-toothy bass, etc... Very important you fish them on light line to feel bites and cast well since they are such light weight. Im using these with a spinning outfit- 8lb braid to 10lb fluro leader. Have caught many nice sized bass and picks with a lure that is absurdly small. The hook is rather heavy gauge wire for this bait though so you kinda have to hookset them a little bit as opposed to the "reel and lift into them" hookset Id usually use on my finesse swimbaits and lighter jighead minnows. They dont swim that great though. they dont have much tail wobble or body roll if you try and stroll fish them so I deducted a star. They work great hopping the bottom, jerkbait twitching and just slow dragging when its the coldest.

great for salt and fresh water fishing. I had old line on while fishing in the surf, twice a huge fish exploded the minnow and broke off. Replace your line folks. Worth every penny.

They look and feel good but I tried using them and noticed that there is little to no action. Just looks like a dead fish in the water. The best I can do is twitch it around and retrieve slowly. The tail has no movement for me. I'd rather use a paddle tail because those have crazy action. I probably won't use these unless as a last resort with all my other lures.
