An essential upgrade for office chairs on hard floors. *by on Reviewed in the United States January 7, 2024* I normally use taller single-wheel "rollerblade" type casters for my own chairs, but these were for a new office chair that my mom bought and asked me to assemble -- she prefers her seating to be a bit lower than I do, and these allow her to sit about an inch and a half lower than the wide wheels I prefer. For her purposes, these casters do the job very nicely. She's able to glide across her office in near-silence, and nobody in the adjacent guest room has any idea she's in there. It's a huge improvement over the rattly stock casters that come with office chairs of any age.
