Working without any issue

The device has a very bad screen resolution. Almost nothing I looked at was not in focus. There is no option to make pictures or videos in higher quality, to see them later on the computer. And built-in magnification just blurs everything even more. The other drawback is the advertised focal length of 2-10cm. I couldn't get anything in focus if it was not in more than 7cm range. So this device will be useless for car mechanics or people who need to look at things from very short distances. Having listed all those drawbacks I still can see this borescope coming in handy. People who need to see what is behind a drywall, someone who inspects pipes, etc. Any scenario where you don't need to look at surfaces up close or can deal with relatively low video quality will be ok. The price is really hard to beat!

The low-cost borescope I purchased exceeded my expectations by effectively fulfilling its stated purpose. Its ability to inspect tight spaces and capture images provided valuable insights for my projects. However, one limitation I encountered was the lack of a feature to save photos directly. While it served my immediate needs admirably, in hindsight, investing in a higher-priced version with photo-saving capabilities would have been beneficial for documentation and future reference. Nonetheless, for its affordability and functionality, this borescope proved to be a worthwhile tool for basic inspection tasks.
