Plug and Play. I was worried that my location would be hard to detect. I live on a hill, overlooking a valley in Arizona. Addresses here are hard to find. I just put in the GPS qd. it found my location. I mounted the dish in my yard, hooked it up, and I have had lightning internet for 7 months. I turn off my internet every night because I am off the electric grid. I use a Bluetti power Station. It takes about 3 minutes every time I turn on the Star Link to have internet back on. $120. per month is a little expensive being on a low fixed income. I do recommend Star Link, especially if your out in the middle of nowhere.

Despite that I bought it new but everything in the boxed looked used, it works really well. Bought it to use in Asheville after Hurricane Helene once it was set up and subscribed to the Starlink, it was trouble free and worked great. Was able to stream movies and support multiple internet devices all at once.Notes: setup was quick and easy, only two pieces of gear and two cables to connect. It does need AC power (no DC option built in) so bring an inverter or a generator. Setting up Starlink was annoying because I couldn’t used the Starlink to set up/activate my Starlink account. Unit is a great size to be a portable option when traveling, camping, working in remote locations.

Bought this in October, it broke 4-5 weeks later, they would not swap it for another unit. Then they took 450$ for a restock fee. So I got scammed. I Bought from starlink this time. I still have the old system locked on my account. I will unlock it when I get money I also notified starlink.

Power, cell towers, & water were out for 9 days. Poles, trees, & wires down everywhere. When I learned that Starlink was making the first month free & that there is no long term contract, I ordered a Gen 2 with the automatic orientation actuator.Set-up was easy for a semi-tech literate Boomer. 196 MPS download speed allows me to connect to my Samsung smart TV. Civilization!Charter Spectrum cable will be out for weeks.I do wish it came with an ethernet port so I can connect to all my devices in my home wifi.

Spaces Starlink became our only option after Dish and Viasat couldn’t service area. Best internet we have ever had. No disruption due to cloud cover or heavy rain. Somewhat pricy but pleased with High-Speed internet. SduF

Reliably high internet speeds. Suffice for the entire house and could possibly be used next door.

We had a disaster here in Asheville NC with no communications, water, downed trees, floods. Family had no idea what was happening to us until we got the Starlink which was so easy to set up and worked flawlessly. We left it outside our yard so our neighbors could come by and use at their convenience. Like saver!!!
