Review: This 5/8” Grounding Rod by CYANTEKOMS MFG does a very good job of grounding our metal container shop. We are just now setting up this container as a work area...don't even have power to it yet. First things first though, I wanted to get the ground in place before going any further with power. The build of the grounding rod is top notch. The galvanized steel coating is even and thorough. The T-handle allows for hand placement into the ground...but if you need to hammer it, the rod will be ok with that. The wire terminal connection is a steel flag welded to the side of the rod. The rod feels very thick and robust. The coating seems a little thin and appears to scrape off easily but I am not sure if that's an issue or not. Attached lugs look good too. Have yet to install it so this review is based on a physical inspection of the device.
