Let's clear something up for those of you too stupid to have an ounce of (not so) common sense. Every person's body is different and reacts differently to everything. If your body is blocked or switched in any manner, these herb blends will most likely NOT work for you, nor will any nutritional supplement you attempt. Do not try to self test any product. Only dips***s do that. It is unreliable and the outcome can easily be altered. Tinctures contain alcohol. Get over it. They do not contain enough alcohol per dose to harm your baby via breastmilk. Tinctures taste like s***. They are nasty herb blends, breaking down in alcohol solution. Did you honestly expect anything different? You know what makes this crap taste good? Sugars. You know what increases inflammation, suppresses your immune system, feeds cancers and bugs, and decreases the effecacy of a healing product? Sugars. Now let's address the floaty sludge in the product. It's a TINCTURE! WHAT DID YOU EXPECT?! On a side note, I wasn't able to have my doctor check me for dosage or to even see if this was the correct prout for me. I knew that in advance and therefore knew it possibly wouldn't work. Surprisingly it did help. I was able to breastfeed for 6 weeks. This is incredible as my body doesn't tend to make milk. I didn't even make more than a few drops colostrum with my last child. Anyway, it may or may not work. It all depends on your body.

Now, this may not be an issue for you. But it was for me. While taking this product I got my first period since labor and I got severe bleeding. And when I'm saying severe I mean severe. That's something to consider if you have recently given birth and are still bleeding from it. But that's not the reason why I'm giving this product the bad review. The main reason is that it didn't work for me. I think it actually decreased my milk production which is probably the reason my period came back shortly after I started taking it. It worries me that they claim to "safely" increase milk production. I think at a minimum they should warn about the blood thinning effects of the product on the label. I contacted the company about this issue and my recommendation of including possible side effects on the label. I will updated if they answer.

This product is AMAZING. I had read the reviews on Amazon before making the purchase and they didn't lie. I returned back to work and was pumping to keep my milk supply up, but after the 6 week mark, my supply started to lessen. I was worried that I would lose my milk so I started researching what I could take to help boost my supply. As soon as this arrived in the mail I took the dose for women who are 175lb + and by the same time the next day my supply had doubled. I now take it whenever I feel like my milk production is dropping and it works every. single. time.

I took this when I was breastfeeding/pumping with my first child. My milk supply had begun to go down so I wanted to try a supplement to help boost it. I got this tincture and it seemed to help a lot. Now that I'm pumping with my second, and am noticing a severe decline in my milk supply, I wanted to try it again. Unfortunately it doesn't seem to be working at all. I'm not getting the maple syrup smell like I did the first time around. I'm not sure why, it's a total bummer. I'll keep trying it until the bottle runs out. Maybe I need a little more time? It has been a week.

I think this product is called MotherLove for a reason -- there is no way you would take it unless you really, really loved someone as only a mother can! It tastes AWFUL. I can hardly get it down. I ended up using this 2X a day and the capsules 2X a day because I just couldn't make myself take the liquid 4X each day. Even though it says not to drink anything within 15 minutes - a chaser is needed! The proof is in the milk output, though. I saw an increase of a few ounces within a day. As a working Mom who is wanting to EBF my infant son, but having trouble pumping enough milk to meet his daily needs, I would recommend this product to a friend.

I started this after my daughter was born after a suggestion from my lactation consultant. The first bottle I got was the 4 oz version and it worked well. You can tell it works when you start smelling like maple syrup and it only took 24 hrs the first time to smell like that and for it to start working. I bought this bottle and something’s wrong. It tastes different and is NOT working. I don’t smell like maple syrup anymore. This is a bad batch!!! Do NOT purchase. I unfortunately have to buy the larger size again and get my supply going.

I ordered this when I noticed my milk supply starting to dip when my baby was about 5 months old. I work two days a week and was pumping and nothing came out! That had never happened to me before so I did some research and ordered this right away. I was taking many of the same supplements in this bottle but in capsule form and they were not nearly as effective. 4 dropper fills a day vs 18 pills a day...much easier and better results!

I have tried EVERYTHING under the sun to help boost my milk supply. After 1 full day of using this...I noticed a drastic increase. Only had to supplement 1 bottle...when I’ve recently started having to supplement 3! I’m hopeful that this continues and I can eventually get rid of all bottles! Taste is pretty nasty...but I’ll take it if it helps bring back my milk!
