Durable, most effective cat scooper ever
Wow, I have been using different types of plastic scoops for 12 years and this is my first one of this design and being metal ... the clumps are easily scooped out and don't break apart hardly at all , it rolls through the litter like water no resistance at all. It's nice it has its own little compartment to store it in which can be easily cleaned instead of using a plastic bag to hold it inside . The handle is durable and big so you can get a firm grip while sitting. I have 3 cats and 2 litter boxes and it takes me less than a minute per box . I scoop them daily. I'll never use a plastic one again .

Nice build, nice handle, and works with Okocat (Pink bag)
UPDATE FOR OKOCAT USERS: If you use this, don't shake the scoop. Let the litter fall naturally and you'll be more satisfied with the end result. You don't want to break up those clumps. It's faster NOT to shake for me, and the litter stays fresher longer. Bought this due to the reviews, and I do like it. I use Okocat soft litter (pink bag) made from trees for my girls and it works well for that. I also use stainless litter pans and I have to say it's far superior to plastic scoops. That said, I also have a different stainless scoop with a long handle that works well also, but this was quick and easy as everyone said. I had only a teeny bit of residue on the tines after scooping some pretty wet Okoat (IYKYK), and I wiped with a paper towel, and gone. That alone sort of sold me. I'll keep using it, for sure. Build quality seems good and I loved the handle thickness. Since I use Okocat, I cannot comment on if it would work on clay litter, but I suspect it may end up with far more residue on the tines than I have. This is my favorite scoop for Okocat litter and I've added an update and a star now that I see how to better use it for that brand.

Sprinkle & Sweep Cat Litter Metal Scoop with Holder
A Smart Upgrade for Real Cat Parents I started out with one of those inexpensive plastic litter scoops, and honestly, it didn’t take long to see the downsides. Flimsy, awkward to store, and it made cleaning feel like more of a hassle than it needed to be. This metal scoop from Sprinkle and Sweep has been a total game-changer. The stand-up holder alone is worth it. It gives the scoop a designated home so I’m not left figuring out where to put it after use—especially when dealing with waste. That’s something small that makes a huge difference in your daily routine. The scoop itself is sturdy, well-built, and the wooden handle adds a nice touch. It doesn’t bend or wiggle like the plastic ones. I usually get everything I need in one clean scoop, which makes litter box cleaning much quicker and less frustrating. It sifts efficiently and picks up clumps without extra effort. Honestly, it’s one of those tools that makes an unpleasant chore easier—and that matters when you’re doing it every day. It also comes with a lifetime warranty, which shows the brand stands behind its product. Yes, it costs more than the basics—but it’s worth every penny. If you’re serious about keeping your cat’s space clean and want to make your life a little easier, this scoop is a solid investment.

The Best Litter Scooper for Big Jobs – Worth Every Penny
As the owner of a large Maine Coon and a smaller rescue kitty, I deal with a very large litter box setup — in fact, I use an industrial-sized bin to give my cats plenty of space. Managing such a big litter area means I need a strong, reliable, and efficient scooper, and after trying several options, I finally found the perfect one. This scooper is extremely sturdy, solidly built, and feels like it will last a long time without bending or cracking. Despite its strength, it's lightweight and very easy to handle, even when cleaning a heavy, full litter box. One of the best features is the design of the sifting holes. Using tofu litter, I found that the litter falls right through the scooper naturally without any need for shaking. This is a huge bonus because it helps keep clumps intact, reducing the chances of small pieces breaking off and making cleanup a lot faster and cleaner. The size of the scoop is another major plus — it covers a lot of surface area, allowing me to clean the entire box in half the time compared to smaller scoopers. And even though it's larger, it still works perfectly with a Litter Genie, making disposal just as easy. Cleaning the scooper itself is simple, and the included holder is a great bonus, helping keep everything organized and sanitary. For comparison, I previously tried the Lady N - Infinity Cat Litter Scoop ($9.99) but returned it because it required a lot of shaking, causing clumps to break apart, and the hollowed-out handle trapped litter. I also tested the Ownpets Iron Metal Cat Litter Scoop, which had different sized holes on each end and felt awkward to use — plus, despite the "non-stick" claim, the front grid was a nightmare to clean. After those disappointments, I’m thrilled to have found a scooper that truly handles the job without gimmicks. If you're dealing with a large litter box, multiple cats, or just want something that works efficiently and cleanly, this scooper is absolutely worth the money.

Great for Pellets, Not So Much for Clay
Excellent scoop for tofu litter. The pellets quickly fall right through the wires with very little to no shaking needed. No wasted litter. No problems with anything sticking so far. Also works for clay litter but won’t catch the smaller chunks that can happen when you shake the clumps. I have one box with about 80% tofu litter and 20% clay as I’m in the process of transitioning my cats to all tofu and this scoop works amazingly in that box. The other box is still about 50/50 tofu to clay litter and it doesn’t work as awesomely in that one since it leaves the small clumps behind. I end up using the scoop that came with my Litter Genie on that one so I can get everything. The scoop is all metal with the exception of the nice, smooth wooden handle. It’s a good size so easy to hold and feels nice and sturdy. Comes with a plastic stand/holder that the bottom pops off of for easy cleaning. Overall, I think this is a good scoop for pellet litter, not necessarily for clay litters.

Worth the Investment
I really really really like this kind of scooper. It sifts so fast compared to the plastic ones I've used before. With this scooper, you only have to scoop once and just barely sift any loose litter. I have a kitten and her poops and pee balls are small; this scooper still scoops it up no problem. I have an XL litter box, and this scooper saves me so much time when scooping. The quality is well made and durable, not heavy at all. Scooping litter boxes might seem like a tedious chore but with this scooper, I'm done in under 1 minute.

Finally, no dust litter scooping
These cat litter scoops are amazing! I’ve been dealing with litter dust forever and this is the first product that addressed it. You don’t have to shake the scoop to remove excess litter but even if you do shake it, not much, if any, dust rises. I use cheap clumping litter - store brand. Seriously, this scoop is the best - big surface area, sturdy and convenient. The holder is a big added bonus.
