Recommended, there is no doubt. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ For what it is... *by F***S on June 3, 2023* I recently purchased this Johnson lightweight aluminum tripod in hopes that it would be minimally sufficient as a surveying tripod. I don't put it in that category after having received it. It would be fine for setting a laser level on, but the legs are thin and spindly compared to other lightweight aluminum tripods that I have. Also, the face is not standard sized, so there's not much wiggle room for centering over the point if you need to. See my picture.
