Wild Life, Realistic Wild Animal Toy for Boys and Girls, Crocodile Toy Figurine with Movable Jaw

I bought this toy because I was working on a "Man vs Nature" type of photography project. I did not have access to a real crocodile or alligator (nor did I want real access...hahahaha). Instead, I bought this toy and used it as my photography subject. I have since let my kids have it as an educational toy. This is a neat little toy. The paint job is great. In the photos it looked realistic, especially with a little editing (such as putting it into a swampy environment using Photoshop). I have attached unedited pictures of this item. I took them sitting on a couch next to a well-lit window. Hopefully, this will give you a true feel of the paint quality. From head to the tail, I would measure this at around 7" long. The nose of the crocodile, which is the highest point of this toy, stands around 2" from the ground. I like the fact that the mouth opens and shuts. However, I feel that if there are any weak points in the paint job it is inside the mouth. It just looks a lot less realistic than the rest for some reason. I opted to keep the mouth closed for my photo project. The mouth is the only moving part on this toy. The legs and tail do not articulate. It is a hard, molded plastic. Probably one of the best toy animal that we have. My grandson loves the hinged jaw for playing

Great detail, love that the mouth opens! It really looks like a crocodile. I am not entirely sure of the scale size, but for my diorama, it's a perfect size. They are durable figures with realistic details and colors. Will purchase again.

Every single one of these toys that I have purchased are beyond beautiful and well made from the details to the painting to how thick heavy and solid they are. They also take one heck of a beating. I have even placed some in the dishwasher to get them clean after they had been left out in the rain mud and sun for days on end and they came out of the dishwasher just like when the toys arrived and where brand new. I bought about 20 of these small figures so I will place this review on each of them. Update........ after having these little toys in the house for around 5 months now I have discovered that these are like modern day Legos. By modern day Legos I mean they hurt like hell when you step on one by surprise. Anyways after 4-5 months of abuse by kids, dogs and the dishwasher these little toys are holding up extremely well and I would definitely recommend them.

Got this for my son for Christmas. Very cool toy. Well made and detailed and jaw moves.

Super sturdy, realistic-looking. Perfect for my daughter's zoo collection. The jaw was a bit hard to open, but has eased up now that she's played with it a bit. Love Schleich and so glad I got this piece!

Compared to the other Schleich crocodile offering, this one is superior in that it has a hinged jaw, though I like the body color of the other figure better. In any case, they're both great representations, and are extremely durable and well painted. You really can't go wrong very often choosing Schleich, and this figure is further proof of that. That said, here's another pet for Croc Master...

All the Scleich animals are fantastic. So happy to add this alligator to our collection!

Figurine de crocodile très bien faite,la mâchoire est amovible ce qui est top pour le jeu! Avec l'hippo, la pieuvre et le sanglier ce sont les préférées de notre fils, niveau de détails et qualité de la peinture fidèle à ce que l'on peut attendre de Schleich ou Papo! Acheté pour compléter la collection de notre petit de 3 ans 1/2, il les adore et nous aussi! Il passe beaucoup de temps à jouer avec et malgré le fait qu'elle soit souvent maltraité (chute, coup etc...), la peinture ne bouge pas! Perfect diorama figure, with a movable jaw. Excellent paint job, accurately proportioned. Looks exactly like the photo in the listing and is the same as the size shown in the listing details. Definitely NOT for too much rough play, even if the figure is tough and sturdy - the jaw could be broken off if mishandled by kids. Use discretion if being purchased for a child.
