I recently had installed the DELLA Motto Series 12000 BTU Wifi Enabled Mini Split in my bonus room (about 600+ sq. ft.), and I couldn’t be happier with the results. This unit is a powerhouse! It effortlessly heats and cools the space, keeping the temperature just right year-round. One of the things that really stands out is how energy-efficient it is. Even with running both the cooling and heating functions, my utility bills have already started to drop—such a nice surprise! The 20 SEER2 rating is definitely paying off. The R32 refrigerant also helps make it more environmentally friendly, which is a huge plus. Installation was straightforward, and the fact that it's pre-charged with refrigerant made things much easier. I also love the Wi-Fi connectivity and Alexa compatibility, so I can control the temperature from anywhere. Whether I'm at home or away, I have full control of my room’s climate with just a few taps on my phone. The unit is quieter than I expected, and the overall build quality feels very solid. The heat pump is great during the colder months, and the air conditioning does wonders during the summer heat. I would highly recommend this mini-split system for anyone looking to efficiently heat and cool a medium to large room. It’s saving me money, is easy to use, and keeps my space comfortable year-round. Truly a great investment!

Installation was straight forward with all the parts needed except your tools. I paid for an HVAC person to charge the unit. This appears to be an upgrade from the Della Mini Split I purchased 3 years ago. Both units are working great! I have about 500 square feet of space per unit. Last year my first unit kept the room pleasantly cool in 110 degree heat. The heater kept the room warm at 15 degrees in the winter. Lastly, the remote to my second unit was missing with the product. Customer service answered my request for a replacement within 4 hours. Amazing!

Let me tell you Az heat is no joke! Bought this mid summer to try and escape the heat and works like a charm. We are completely off grid at the moment and we wired it up to our generator. Works perfect and cools the cabin to a chill. Sometimes I need my hoodie even when it’s blazing hot outside. I recommend!

Pros: It's quiet. It can cool quickly when it wants to. It can heat if it decides it's in the mood. If I'm hot, I set it to 70 degrees Fahrenheit (21 c) and it cools to almost 58 f (14 c) in no time. Great for super hot days. It can still heat when it's -20 f (-29 c) outside, but it struggles a lot and would not keep us warm at all if not for the exceptional insulation. Cons: I'm not sure if the thermostat is just for show. Right now, the thermostat on the system is set to "cool" to 80 degrees Fahrenheit (~27 c), and it cools the bedroom to anywhere between 78 f (26 c) and 67 f (19 c) degrees depending on its mood that hour. When heating, it likes to keep us guessing as well. The blue light on the front is like a midnight sun. I regret putting it within eyesight of the bed. The controller screen is written using invisible ink. You have to hold it at an angle in a bright light just right to read it, and yes, I have changed the batteries twice, just in case. The Wi-Fi has never connected. I would have sent it back, but I waited too long to install it.

This is a good unit, when installed correctly. Ditto, regarding other reviews stating watch install videos and taking your time to install correctly. For installation you need the following. Vacuum pump Halogen leak detector Torque wrench ~15 to ~40 NM capable for the unit that I installed. I installed this onto an agricultural building ( well insulated and ~550 sq ft floor area). During recent 85 F, 80 % humidity, this unit kept interior temp at 65 F. The unit is very quiet. Disregard longevity rating. I’ve had this unit running for about a week.

Product was bought to cook 400 Sq Ft room as it's rated for 550 Sq Ft room. This Della 12K, 110-120 Volt Mini-Split does not produce Hot or Cold air...It DOES work well as a $700-ish fan!! I had bought this same unit about 8 months ago and it worked fine...hot and cold. Installation was easy and unit worked well from the first push of the ON button. This unit does not. I am an experienced Mini-Split installer working primarily for elderly customers. Have contacted Della Customer service on 10/19/2024 now waiting for a response. Contacted Della supplier, Align.com and after some back and forth they sent me a new unit. I installed it just like the first one and THIS ONE has worked FINE for the past 30-ish hours. So, I will give Align and Della 4-stars. Thank you.

After many hours of research, I decided to purchase the 12,000 BTU Della split unit. I was very skeptical of the reviews, with all of the AI ads popping up after you type in a manufacturers name, but thought how could I go wrong with a thirty day return policy and decided to pull the trigger on it. I watched a couple of videos on installation, then gathered up my tools and went to work installing the line set to the wall mounted unit and with a friend’s help, we hung the inside unit. Afterwards we moved to the outside connected the power then the line set to the outdoor unit. I watched another video on evacuation of the lines then proceeded to pump it down. We tested to see if it would hold and not leak down for an hour, then released the Freon into the unit. I reseated the disconnect for power which connects the outside unit to the inside wall mounted unit. We went inside and turned the unit on and set it up on WiFi then tested it. This was installed in a Florida room surrounded by windows and very little insulation. This Della split unit performed flawlessly. Best purchase I’ve made in at least 15 years, the unit is very quiet indoors and out. The best part is that it doesn’t run continuously like the old window unit where the electric bill averaged $8.00 a day. The Della ran yesterday and the cost was $1.00, I’m extremely satisfied with this product and may purchase another for my golf simulator room. Thank you Della.

I was able to install this mini split with my brother in one afternoon. It is an easy install job overall, but you need the right equipment. This is a consideration for those of you who want to install it yourself, too, as the equipment probably costs more than the mini split. Once installed, this mini split is high quality. It cools and heats the room quickly and quietly. I also like the way it looks. Highly recommend!
