These shorts dry fast. And fit well. I'll keep buying them as long as they keep making this style! Please don't discontinue this style ever! Couldn't be happier with them.The versatility is great. They stay on great even in swift currents and while swimming in strong, fast-moving water. I've worn them in lakes, mountain rivers, creeks, pools, cold plunge tubs, and in all sorts of environments where getting wet is possible. Nice enough to wear with a normal shirt as a pair of shorts too, in a pinch. Especially if you purchase them in a classy neutral like black or navy. Makes packing easier when traveling.

Like many suggested, I sized up. I have a thicker build and I don't really care for the look of encased sausages for legs. The shorts fit great and were not too tight in the legs, they were actually loose all over, but not too loose. The waist band comes up high so even if they fell a little, I don't think they'd slide past my hips. I love the flower pattern on the shorts and the colors. SO cute! I bought a few pairs of different board shorts and wanted to keep only one. Although I am deciding to return these, they were my 2nd choice pick. I like them a lot!

I wasn’t sure if I liked it at first because the stretchy band going around felt like it showcased my belly, but I ended up not minding that because it is so comfortable. It has a nice high waist and it’s a perfect length. Will be great for kayaking too. I got a size large.

Too big. I ordered a size large because that was suggested. I’m 5’5 140 and the large was HUGE. I’m returning and ordering a medium…we’ll see. I’m thinking though that the stretch waist is good but still “digs” into your waist at the top of the waist area (even though the shorts were too big. If that makes any sense.

The fabric is good and although I haven’t worn them in the water yet, I did rinse thwm out & they dried quickly.Oh, they seem to run just slightly small. I had recently bought another pair from a different vendor in the same size and these are just a little tighter.

I don’t know what it is about being nearly naked around friends and family that just doesn’t work for me. I love the swim short trend and these are awesome! They’re comfortable and come up high enough to cover my belly button which didn’t fare too well after several kids. I’m 5’6” 125# and the small fit great. I tried 2 other swim shorts brands and one in a different style I might keep, but the other one was similar to these and just a disaster of poor quality and sizing. I usually spend 2-3x as much at a name brand competitor but they don’t have the higher waist or longer leg. Now I need to find a tankini to go with these shorts!Hope this review helped. I wanted something to provide a little more coverage than a typical bathing suit bottom. The bathing skorts are nice, but doesn't provide any coverage once you get in the water. These shorts are the perfect answer. They're fitting enough that they won't fall off in the water, but not too tight. They also have a control panel to keep your belly where it should be LOL.

I own these in both black & navy, and they fit tts for me based on my normal size, but NOT according to Amazon’s suggestion or this listing’s size chart. I’m 5ft 3.5, wear about a 0, waist 28, hips 37.5, so I’m fairly proportioned. XS fit great even though Amazon suggested a medium & the chart suggested a small. I’m a 61yo mom of three currently outa shape (soft) but small, and I felt these were complimentary for my waist & behind. However, the “Blue Atol” turquoise color was too a small fitting. I feel you want these a tad snug so they don’t fall down when wet. Regarding colors: The black is a true black, the navy is a true navy, and the Blue Atol is a true turquoise-blue like pictured. I’m going to try the “Hyper-Pink” and hope it is sized like the black ones & navy ones. I would love to try the white ones but people are saying they are see-through.
