This device worked perfectly as designed, radio reception was strong and the sound quality playing a cassette was acceptable. It's a useful little boombox at a reasonable price. The only dealbreaker in my case wouldn't affect most buyers. The company explained what was going on and they cheerfully refunded my purchase. I have found that to be rare in these troubled times and so I reward this a five-star transaction. PS, I also suggested to their Customer Support that they update their listing to indicate the RecUSB delay. I was going to add sound samples, but unfortunately desertcart won't let me. All my tapes that were originals from 1985 transferred over to the USB with a humming noise when played on my desktop. The humming noise came from the tape. It was slightly magnified during the transfer, but could be easily edited out for a clearer sound. I made a copy of a CD onto a tape back in 1991. Today I took that tape and transferred it to the USB and the sound was near perfect to the original CD. I was also able to transfer songs from my desktop (iTunes) to a flash drive and the music sounded great. This is a great little radio to have sitting on your desk in an office.
