Perfect replacement - like for like. But expensive for what it is.

UPDATE April 2019: I contacted the seller (Triton) and they replaced the unit without hesitation. I am happy to increase my rating and if the unit is still functioning well in 6 months time I may well increase it again. As I said in my original review, I really like the design and appearance of the shower head. My low rating was based the original item's short life.Although I bought this almost 12 months ago, it didn't actually get fitted until November 2018, so it has only seen about five months of normal daily use. I estimate the shower is used three to four times a day by members of the family, which I don't consider to be excessive. Frustratingly, the seal between the main body of the shower head and the rubber/plastic nozzle plate has just failed and water is now gushing through the edge of the shower head rather than being distributed through the nozzles. This makes it like showering under a running tap. If this had been a ten quid item I would have accepted it as an ill-though out purchase on the cheap - but this was not a cheap unit and I expect it to last considerably longer than it has. I will post a video when I get a chance. Meanwhile, although I really like the design of this shower head, I can't recommend it from a quality point of view. It might look lovely, but it's easy to increase perception of quality by spraying anything with chrome.Luckily, this has a twelve month guarantee, so I will be going back to the manufacturers for a replacement (although I would have preferred a refund, as my trust in this item no longer exists).

using the name and the code number that triton had for their product with the photo shown very similar to that which i needed to replace i placed an order thinking it was correct. But the item that i received was a inferior product with a smaller area of spread to the head and not as the item i needed to replace it would have been just basic gravity and not spreading the water from the nozzle

Initially great but leaking within a year and had to be replaced

Well made product. Has more or less eliminated the squealing we were getting from the former shower head.
