The Perfect Combination of Cutesy Foods & Nostalgic Crafts!
I still remember the rubber band bracelet craze like it was yesterday. Oh boy, I LOVED making bracelets for friends (or filling up Easter eggs) and learning new styles and trying out different looms. It was a serious hobby for me for a while, and then time goes on and rubber band bracelets fell out of style and now my younger sister is coming up and getting interested in all those crafty things. So naturally, when I saw this rubber band CHARACTER set, I had to get it for her. 2010s nostalgia and the 2020s trend of giving everything sparkly eyes and smiling mouths combined into one fantastic art set? Count me in.Suffice to say, my sister loved this set as much as I love my old bracelet loom! The characters turned out so adorable! This set could be a little difficult for a seven-year-old (the suggested age), but once you get the hang of it, you're sure to have oodles of fun! If you're looking for something with all the creative fun of bracelet-making, but still fresh and unique, this is the craft for you!

Fun new rainbow loom craft
I have four kids, and we have had rainbow loom supplies in our home for the past 10 years. Each of the kids has gotten into the craft around first or second grade, and then for a while, we have SO MANY bracelets. This is the first craft my kids have done with rainbow loom besides the bracelets. It was a lot of fun and has renewed my kids' interest in the product. This would make a great gift, especially for a kid who is already familiar with rainbow loom.

Loomies in the afternoon
Any crafting set that can be something all (granddaughters and grandsons) can do is always appealing to me. Really girlie crafts are always easy to find but then I can’t always get my grandsons interested in the activities. Which brings we to the reason I chose the food Loomies set. Silly foods were a hit for the guys and gals. This set is larger so you have plenty of opportunity to practice or work your Loomies skill. Alternatively you can use this kit with multiple kids and make a group activity of it. Plus if you have other sets (like I do) you can always add in pieces for more participants, designs etc. These were fun to make with my grandkids. My younger ones more watched me make theirs. But I do agree with the age recommendation of seven plus. Even my five year old granddaughter needed some help.I find the price point to be fair. There are many pieces and it really could entertain one crafty kid for quite sometime. The activity is enjoyable and something that helps you stay in the moment and focused.

Cute budget friendly set
I got this for my daughter who is almost 7. She loves crafts but gets bored easily so I don’t buy her anything too pricey yet. This is a great way to try out loomies as a beginner. There are a few little projects in the box to work on. The directions are pretty easy to follow but you can also look at videos online if you need more visual instruction. My daughter needed my help to start each one and finish the ends but was able to use the loom herself and enjoyed it. The little foods turn out cute and she can display them in her room and likes to show people what she made! Great set!

Fun, creative activity to create some super CUTE little foods!
My pre teen daughter loves crafts, DIY and making things for and with her friends. They have all kinds of special creations that they have made for each other - corded friendship bracelets, beaded necklaces and bracelets, charms, hair bows... you name it! She was absolutely stoked to try this Rainbow Loom Loomies Food Figurines set.You can create four different adorable food characters - cheeseburger, fries, pizza, and taco. There are enough materials to make all four characters with their accompanying accessories - eyes, mouths, glasses, cheeks, etc. There are detailed instructions that show you how to make them. We found them to be extremely helpful and didn't leave us guessing on what to do next. This definitely isn't a craft project for little ones as it does require quite a bit of precision. Adult supervision may be required to help get them started as it can be a bit tricky. The finished food characters are SO cute! The accessories can easily be swapped out for new ones as they aren't permanently affixed or glued in any way.

Adorable, and great for hand/eye coordination
I love finding new crafts that my girls haven't tried yet, and this is the newest addition to our household. They loved trying out the different little foods and building them up. It was easy for them to figure out and they really got into making all the different options. I think this would be a great gift idea for anyone for the holidays. For reference, my children are five and eight. The eight year old loved it, and the five year-old loved it with a little bit of assistance.
