Acoustic Audio HD-6c In-Wall 6.5" Center Channel Speaker In Ceiling 350 Watt,White

5 stars for the price and quality of this speaker. I had to replace a 390$ Polk audio speaker of the same size that failed, likely from to may Watts when I updated my TV/amp to a 7.2 system. This speaker fit right into the hole in the wall that the Polk was in, and installed in less than 5 mins. And I find this speaker sounds just as good as the POLK one I replaced. So far all these acoustic audio speaker are very good for the price. My system has 7 of them, for all the POLKS failed when I updated (to many Watts). I use my system everyday for we have a work out room in our TV area, and it is on at 80/85% level for least 2-3 hours a day. So we will see if these hold up. Oh yeah and the ONLY "bad" so far is I had to take down a few of my wall photos, and will have to find a better hanging system to keep my photos on the wall and straight. For when we turn it up we shaking the whole room. Also BUY the YELLOW cone ones. They sell some black cone ones for a few $ less. Trust me on this one, spend the few extra $ for the ones with the YELLOW cone. I had to return 3 of the back ones, for they just no where near as good as the YELLOW cone ones. You can feel the difference in wieght and sound.

I'm very surprised at the price point this speaker sounds amazing

Added this to our new home theater as our center speaker goes great with our Denon AVR-S710. Only complaint is the speaker wire is cheap quality. Sounds great! The look within the wall isn't 100% flushed and the dimension are slightly odd for your standard U.S Home stud 18 on center.However, it sounds great for the price

I installed Energy in-wall speakers for my surround sound system. I was trying to keep it simple by only setting up a 4.1 configuration. As it was a PC-based (HTPC) installation the software allowed me to configure the sound field as such. But, the dialog was lacking and my overly rock&rolled ears were not catching the details in movies. So, to remedy I needed the center channel which, unfortunately, Energy does not have an available center channel. So, matching to my existing speakers was not possible. On receipt I found the speakers to be heavy as I had hoped. Really good sized magnets. The box included the necessary template for the wall cut-out. I had already set my studs at 24 inch on-center when building the room. So, width of the speaker was not an issue. Installation was simple as it was already pre-wired (just in case). The hold-down system was more flimsy that the energy. I ran my cordless screwdriver lightly when tightening to the wall. I heard a slight crunching noise that worried me at first but all was fine and they tightened and set firm - no vibration at high power. These are primarily for movies and videos. I'm not an audiophile. The sound is good based on my expectations. These have been able to manage plenty of power. No buyer's remorse and I would recommend to others.

Put in a Dolby Atmos 7.2.4 system for a total of 13 speakers. Used Acoustic wall/ceiling mounts on all except the front left and right. Gotta say - outrageous! Highly recommend these speakers. Very reasonable price and awesome sound!!!!

I was somewhat of a skeptic when I purchased this speaker. It is installed with 4 Infinity in-the-wall speakers and an 800 watt Home Theater Subwoofer. I have true 5.1 sound through an AVR 2600 and the sound is totally awesome for use in both the TV and all music components.

These sounds great in my home theater good but for the price

I tried this in a home theater that has 7.1 surround surround sound. I used comparable in-wall speakers for the side and rear. The right and left front speakers are Polk Monitor 60s. The surround speakers were fine, and the Polks performed very well, but this center speaker just didn't provide clear enough sound to hear dialogue. I ended up replacing it with a much higher end Klipsch speaker which made a world of difference. The center channel is the most important sound source because that's where most of the dialogue originates. If you have the cash don't cut corners here. I do not recommend this speaker even at its low price.
