Hello, The colors listed are that we offer at this time (Blue, Red, Yellow, and Green) and they cannot be customized as you describe. You could use a marker, fine point pen or paint to add the letters or symbols to the existing colors.

Are these about the size of a penny?

The size is 3/4" (20 mm) diameter, a bit larger than a penny.

Do they work with Connect Four?

I believe they would be a bit small, but I am not sure of the size of the Connect 4 pieces.
