These cables work really well, I have the 1m ones and they pass the required picture quality. They are even flexible enough to work with my Ugreen KVM switch and Dock with no issues, even though it says on the listing not to use with a KVM switch. They are long enough for my set up and decently priced for the quality you get.

This cable is awesome. I have an Asus ROG Strix XG49WCR and recently bought a 2025 Alienware Area-51 18inch laptop that has an RTX5090. The problem being the monitor I have only supports high refresh rates on display port 1.4. The Alienware laptop annoyingly only has a HDMI port along with 2 thunderbolt 5 ports. HDMI to HDMI I was only able to achieve 75hz and 5120x1440. This cable which I did not realise existed has saved the day. I no longer need a fancy monitor which supports high refresh rates over the HDMI connection, instead this cable has allowed me to all the way up to 165hz. The screen now is at full resolution and full refresh rate capabilities. It is buttery smooth and there is no flicker or any other form of glitching. Well done UGREEN. If you own an Alienware Laptop and want to connect to a high refresh rate monitor, then this cable is the way forward as long as you have a thunderbolt connection (3,4 or 5). Also, if your monitor supports a newer display port and not 1.4, there are other cables UGREEN do that support this. Cable length is great as I ordered a long one, the quality is good. The connections are not heavy and the cable too, which is good for me. It does not lack quality due to it being light rest assured. The price was also great!

Very pleased that the 1m lead was 100cm. Unlike another reviewer who thought it was shorter than he expected 🤭 Seriously though u-green have a nice finish to them and seem fairly robust for the demanding job of being plugged in and forgotten until the devices eventually need upgrading (several years in my case).

Worked perfectly, didn't miss a beat, even working with older resolution like WXQGA that the 4K displayport cables weren't able to handle. Absolutely perfect.

What can I say - does as it says on the tin. Cables work perfectly as described and feel very sturdy with the metal housings and braided cable. I have to praise Amazon for the same day delivery on these. Ordered two of these at lunchtime and they arrived at about 7:30pm the same day. Using them to drive two monitors via a thunderbolt dock. They work perfectly at 1440p 120Hz in HDR with no flickering or glitching of any kind.

I picked this cable to run a high refresh rate monitor from a USB-C laptop without relying on docks or adapters that add failure points. The first thing I noticed handling it is the stiffness of the braided jacket, which feels deliberate rather than cheap, and the aluminium connector housings seat firmly without wobble. At three metres it has enough length to route cleanly around a desk while still holding a stable signal. In my setup it drives 4K at 240 Hz flawlessly, with HDR and VRR engaging correctly and no flicker, black screens, or link drops during long gaming sessions. From a technical standpoint, the DP 1.4 bandwidth is fully utilised, and sustained use shows no thermal issues at the connectors. The main compromises are practical rather than performance-related: it is strictly one-directional from USB-C to DisplayPort, and the cable’s rigidity can make tight cable management awkward. There is also no locking latch on the DisplayPort end, which some may prefer. Within those constraints, it performs exactly as specified and feels engineered for demanding displays rather than casual use.

I grabbed this cable in order to facilitate a DisplayPort connection between my Dell G16 7630 laptop and a PlayStation VR2 headset (via adapter), and it's worked flawlessly. No dedicated DP ports on this machine, so a USB-C to DP cable was my only viable option. You might need to ensure your laptop's dedicated GPU is powering the video signal for its USB-C ports if you're in a similar situation. Check Nvidia Control Panel (or whatever the AMD equivalent is) to see what your options are before committimg to a purchase!

Pomimo prawidłowego wykrywania monitora, obraz się nie wyświetlał, pozostawał czarny. Za to dość regularnie monitor zgłaszał "brak sygnału". Nie wiem czy uszkodzona sztuka, czy po prostu kiepski model - leci zwrot. Testowane na dwóch różnych komputerach, dwóch różnych monitorach oraz trzech systemach (MacOS, Windows, Linux).
