Very Good Gaming Computer After Modifications...
I've been very pleased with this gaming rig so far. Some detailed thoughts: Pros: 1) The unit was well packaged and I didn't have any issues with parts not being connected or components coming loose during shipping. However, there was no foam insert in the unit I received. 2) Instructions were simple and easy to follow with all of the support options, etc. clearly laid out in the documentation. 3) I love the access to the back of the motherboard and the cables. Easy to get to and the cable ties were solid and well done. Made upgrading easy. Also, the ASUS motherboard is very good and has extremely intuitive and easy to use onboard controls for tweaking settings, etc. 4) Most of the components seem to be of good quality. The motherboard and GPU in particular were top notch. 5) The case is not only attractive but of very, very good quality. One of the best looking gaming PCs I've seen. Upgrades: 1) Even though the 1660 GPU was of a good quality, I had a GeForce 2070 Super in my old rig so I did swap that out. I sold the 1660 included with this rig for some very good money, lowering the cost of this PC buy a good amount. 2) Because I swapped out the GPU I did have to replace the Power Supply as well. I wasn't very impressed with the 500Watt PSU included (low quality) but that swap was easy and didn't cost me anything as I had a 750W in my old build. I would recommend a 750Watt PSU as a bare minimum if you're going to upgrade anything on this PC. 3) I threw two sticks of RAM in to beef this unit up to 32GB. Easy and cheap (less than $60). Also, I love the fact that this motherboard is upgradable to 64GB of RAM, providing insurance for future upgrading. 4) There are plenty of options to add more peripherals in addition to the already abundant amount of ports, etc. I always appreciate having room to expand a PC so the life of the build can be extended. IBuypower has done a nice job here. It would have been even better to have had one or two more USB ports in the front of the unit, but that's a minor issue. Cons: 1) As I stated the PSU was not the greatest. But that's an easy swap. I will say the way the PSU is installed (in the bottom of the rig with a molding over it) makes for a tight squeeze and not the easiest of removals. 2) The unit runs very hot in it's original configuration. The CPU cooler, although a step up from a stock unit, is not sufficient to run graphic intensive games at temps I'm used to. Again, this was not a tough fix as I had an upgraded cooler I simply dropped in from my old build. I also installed a fan above the CPU to get some better exhaust. It is good that the top of this PC is vented. 3) Fortunately I use an ethernet connection since I have a 1Gb internet connection. This is a plus since the wifi card (and antennas) provided are basically worthless. I ran the wifi just for fun and couldn't get my connection to more than 15mps. Even my 5 year old laptops wifi card gets me about 600mps on my home network. So I was surprised they would even bother to stock what is a really nice mid range gaming PC with a pierce of junk like this. Final thoughts: I know some reading this may criticize my positive review since I made so many modifications to this unit upon receipt. However, my former rig was 8 years old. Yes, I had made some upgrades which helped extend the life of that unit but this iBuypower build has a powerful 17-10700 CPU with a great motherboard, a very attractive case and the latest ports, etc. After selling the included GPU and upgrading some components (most of which I already owned), the net cost for me to upgrade to this PC was about $300 less than the purchase price. And now I have a pretty impressive gaming PC which rated at the top of the ranks on the UserBenchmark site. Not inly a UFO rating, but numbers that were 120% of that and in the upper 20% of the rigs tested. So with a few modifications I have a Gaming PC that should last for a very long time. Overall, I'm very, very pleased with this unit. Well worth the money IMHO. EDIT: I completely forgot to mention the two fantastic NVME slots on the motherboard. I purchased a 1TB Samsung EVO 750 SSD as well as a corresponding 500GB EVO, keeping the included 256GB SSD as a backup OS in case I ever have a crash (I probably won't use the 1TB HHD at all). The NVME drives are incredibly fast and run smooth as can be! The one slot near the CPU is a little tight so if you're changing out the CPU cooler like I did, be sure to install the NVME drive during that process (with the cooler removed) as it will free up some room on the board. Oh and adding some inexpensive RGB lighting helps as well. A great looking rig that is the fastest best performing PC I've ever owned. Very happy with this!

2 months since purchase and very happy
This was my first gaming PC purchase. I waited a while to review to make sure I didn’t jump the gun. I have used it every single day since purchase. I did a lot of research prior to my purchase and to find a PC this good for under 1k was unexpected (Black Friday Sale). IBuyPower is a great brand, they sent along with my PC a RGB Keyboard and wired mouse. I actually purchased a wireless mouse in replacement of the wired one provided, but I purchased a Corsair gaming keyboard and preferred the one sent with my PC and I returned the Corsair. That was a nice surprise because I assumed both products sent along would be pretty mid. Graphics: 8/10 I have a 4060 graphics card that came with the PC build and I can run almost all the games I play on ultra. (Balders Gate 3, Eldin Ring, Resident Evil) Obviously I will upgrade this one day, but it is great for my first PC. The one game that wouldn’t run in ultra was Sons of the Forest, which I was surprised about. Nbd though. The one upgrade I have made was purchasing a new SSD to make my 500gb PC into a 2T PC. This was a $70 purchase and my PC had an open spot to add the new SSD easily. I haven’t had any issues with over heating. No issues with crashes. No black or blue death screens. It came VERY well packaged with love and care. Very easy set up. All lights have multiple settings and colors. (Install the drivers and go to your ASRock to use) It took about 1 hour to set it up and get all drivers updated. IT IS VERY QUIET!!! Cons: - one USB port does not work on the top panel which was disappointing. It has many USB plug ins on the back, though. - if you are an avid gamer/streamer and play the highest quality games like COD, battlefield, etc. You might want a better graphics card than the one provided. I know this PC can handle it, but it won’t be on the highest setting. Luckily, I am not one of those people. - storage is 500gb out of box. This won’t be enough, just so you know. So get an SSD. - no other cons really this PC is amazing In conclusion, I play games all the time and have been nothing less than surprised by how well this PC can handle everything that I do. 8/10 rating in total due to graphics maybe not meeting everyone’s needs, not enough storage, and one USB not functional. But it meets all of my needs! Couldn’t be more happy with my first PC purchase.

Great computer. Order from Amazon is playing with fire
This is a freaking rocket ship of a computer. It’s loaded, fast, sleek and incredible for gaming. The computer - A+. Amazon’s part left lots to be desired. Bought this for my son for Christmas. It looked incredible. It was shipped from Amazon, and everything looked great. Upon close examination (on Christmas Day), I noticed the tape had been replaced at one point. No big deal, but the package had definitely been opened. I set up the computer, only to notice this computer had definitely been out of the box and plugged in previously (there were smudge marks on the glass, the plugs for HDMI, etc were missing. Ok, no big deal. I plug the computer in and immediately notice the front top fan light isn’t working (the other three are). No big deal. I spent 10 minutes finding the cable the was unhooked. I plug it in, and we are good. Right? Wrong. One of the HDMI inputs appears damaged, and the video card is simply flopping around inside the computer. As a result of the poorly Secured video card, the video card cooling fans work intermittently. Also noticed the fans are super loud (which did not occur on the replacement). I’m finally able to hook up the HDMI to the monitor. No picture. Ever. At this point, the PC went into the box and back to Amazon. My son was bummed, and so was I. First world problems, right? The next day, I order the same PC from Best Buy. Upon taking out the box, the differences are stark. The Best Buy computer had obviously never been out of the box, the graphics card is secure, the protective plugs are in tact, and BAM, it actually works. Upon plugging this bad boy in, it moves at the speed of light. My son plays lots of games (Fortnite, etc.) and loves the computer. It would be great for video editing, gaming or just day to day computing. I will buy another computer from Amazon but not a Christmas gift. I blame whoever took this in from Amazon for not thoroughly inspecting why the previous person had returned the unit. It was a non-functioning unit that was put back on the shelf (sold as new) with no inspection. This isn’t the first time I’ve experienced this s-word from Amazon. The computer, though, is incredible. Buy with confidence, especially if not from Amazon. If this was helpful, please hit the button.

4.5 Years Later...CURRENT PRICE IS A SCAM
UPDATE-4.5 years since I purchased the i7-10700f CPU with 1660 ti GPU PC.. I upgraded all my parts over the years and ended up with this build being put together in a new case and it still runs well and plays all the games I want.. It isnt a powerhouse, but its good enough for a fun time. If you wanna go pro in gaming, this isnt it... but its a good PC... HOWEVER... THE PRICE HERE IS INSANITY.... I paid $1000 for this in 2020, and it is becoming outdated tech. As a matter of fact, you cant upgrade this build past Windows 10, which is losing support in October, and will become unusable in the coming years.... I would only recommend buying this PC on clearance pricing, and only if you have some reason to use a PC stuck on windows 10. Amazon and IBUYPOWER are ACTUALLY SCAMMING the customer if someone was to buy this PC for the currently listed price. So I decided to come back and rewrite my entire review after having this PC for 3 years. The first thing I would mention is that I would never buy this PC for its current listing price. There are way better options out there for even lower prices, regularly, and even better options currently out there from IBUYPOWER for the same or even less money. Black Friday just passed as of the time I am writing this, and there were FAR better PC's in this price range. If you find the right deals, maybe even buy a couple used parts, you can definitely build this PC in the $500 range, and all new parts for a little bit more, maybe $700-ish. And yes, you are paying for the convenience of it being pre-built, but I would not be willing to pay THAT much extra for the convenience, especially now that I know my way around a PC. I find it truly strange that on this same Amazon listing is a PC with a 4060 Ti and an i7-13700F for $400 less than the PC I bought. (and even at it's regular price is still $200 cheaper) That is a far better PC and costs less. It doesn't make sense. However...The PC is still great. I have done a few upgrades over the years, added some more RGB inside the case, added another SSD, and just yesterday upgraded the GPU and PSU. In these 3 years I have made sure to keep the entire machine clean inside and out. Dusting the fans and under the fans to keep airflow through the case is crucial in extending the life of a PC. This PC (1660 Ti, i7-10700F) is pretty much an entry level PC, anything weaker for gaming and you are almost better off playing on a Console. I recently upgraded to a 3060 and it is a nice improvement. All of the parts that were in this PC when I got it were good, but the Power Supply (PSU) was only 500W which is probably the lowest you would ever really want to go for any gaming PC... It had no branding on it, and was likely selected to be the cheapest they could get. That said, it worked fantastically for the entire 3 years, and I plan to use it in an old PC scrap part build that I am putting together. I only changed it now because I upgraded the GPU and wanted to make sure I had a PSU that could fully support that extra strength GPU. When this PC first arrived, there was one loose cable on the HDD which had itself also come loose inside the case, but other than that, I had zero issues. The GPU after a while did make a buzzing sound but never seemed to affect performance, and is a typical issue among GPUs. (Mine was a GIGABYTE brand GPU) It should be noted that IBUYPOWER doesn't make the GPU, so that isn't entirely in their control, especially when that was something that developed over time. Most of the issues people had in their reviews seem to be user error, or just lack of understanding of things that may have come unplugged in shipping. IBUYPOWER has good customer service and will take care of any problems for you. (LinusTechTips on youtube just recently featured this in a video and I emailed them one time because I had issues with my internet provider that I thought were with my PC and IBUYPOWER was quick to respond and gave me good information to work with.) I don't have a lot else to say about it other than I have been VERY happy with my purchase. This was the first truly expensive item I bought online and I have no regrets about it. I highly recommend IBUYPOWER and would certainly do business with them in the future if I have the need. I gave 4 stars because the Power Supply is on the cheaper end and only being 500W is the lowest I would go for any gaming PC, and leaves you pretty much forced to upgrade it if you want to upgrade your main components later on. AND leaving this PC at it's current price point $1569 (which they have for quite some time now) feels like a scam. When I bought this PC, it was priced at $1000. It is an absolute ripoff to pay more than that for this PC. The only reason to leave this listing at that price that makes any sense is to squeeze money out of people who aren't well informed in the tech world. The PC has been great but I wouldn't be able to sleep at night if I sold this PC to someone for more than $1000. It may be an oversight that it is listed so high, maybe a typo, I don't know, but they should be ashamed to have it listed for its current price.

Nightmare!
The first one I got was obviously refurbished. The first internal packing foam from the first step of setup was not there, the mouse and WiFi antenna were missing, the last step to turn on external power was already done, and when attached to the monitor I was just using it stayed a black screen. If the replacement is better I may revisit this review. Also, the date they impose on returns to avoid “additional charges” is a load of crap! Got the replacement and to start the setup instructions were left out. I remembered them and removing the internal packing foam is step one. Once again there was none. I went through setup up and guess what? There was no monitor port for VGA! They knew I had VGA because I reported the last VGA as nonfunctional. It was like they were trying to spite me! I got a 10% refund but that was not enough to cover a new monitor. Now I am waiting for the new monitor and hdmi cables to see if the computer works. This has been a nightmare. Got the HDMI monitor today to complete setup. Guess what? When connected the monitor said no signal. I tried removing the cables and putting back in. NOTHING! I am returning it all, getting a refund, and buying elsewhere. I would not recommend this pc to my worst enemy. When I chatted with the rep last night he was supposed to take care of returning the monitor and hdmi cable. By me editing you can tell he didn’t. Just to tell you how disatisfied I am I will spend $1300 for a similar pc, then with tax and a monitor it will be $1500.

Plug and play, amazing graphics. I bought 2!
What a BEAST of a computer. Playing fortnite at 200+ FPS. Playing cyberpunk 2077 on ultra no problems. Good luck building your own PC and beating these specs. PC was packaged well, within an Amazon box. I checked every connection before turning it on, one fan plug wasn’t snug but other than that it was fine. Everything was literally plug and play. Added a 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD hard drive. There isn’t much room on the SSD the computer comes with because windows is installed there. I had to remove the GPU to install the M.2, there wasn’t enough room for me to screw down the drive otherwise. With this computer you should have 4 tiny screws in a little plastic bag, DO NOT DISCARD THEM, 2 of them are for the M.2 hard drives, should you will to install them at some point. One review stated that the WIFI was terrible, perhaps the vendor has upgraded it as I am getting 600 mb/s upload and download speeds. I couldn’t be happier and wouldn’t hesitate to order this again! 10 stars! Update: I’m adding details that I didn’t know at first, and will of course update if any problems should arise. The PC is still running strong. I have decided to add another 16gb of ram, for anyone interested the ram is DDR4 3000mhz. The motherboard is an asus tuf b460m plus WiFi, there are 2 slots for m.2 NVME SSD drives, one is above the GPU, the other is below it under a heat shield. The GPU will need to be removed to add them, but anyone that has built computers will find that this is a super simple 5 minute install. Other reviewers stating that it is difficult to add hard drives, or that there isn’t space to add them, does not know what they are talking about! It is super easy to add hard drives!! Update pt2: Ordered a second one and so far it seems good. This is about 2 months after my first purchase and the only differences so far is a different motherboard, the pro version instead of plus version. This will be nice because the NVME slots are easier to access, but the screws were not included this time. Also a different WiFi antenna. This time no wires were lose, it booted up perfectly. I literally meant it when I said I would purchase it again. I think I said that anyway! :P Update pt3: I added a photo to show the 750 watt power supply I added, as well as a crucial 1tb SSD. If any of your fan lights are not working, check the connections just to the left of the SSD. I hope you found this review helpful!

Good Value - Good Gaming Performance
This machine worked well for me. My kids are into gaming. This is the first machine I've had marketed as a gaming machine. Some things I wished I had known when I got it: 1. It has separate jacks for headphones and mic. If you have a head set with mic and audio out on one 3.5mm plug, you need a cable to split the input and output. If you use a USB headset, this doesn't affect you. I like that they jacks are conveniently located on the top of the machine. 2. It has two drives, a traditional HDD and a faster but smaller solid-state drive. You have to figure out which gaming things need fast drive access and put them on the solid-state drive. 3. The keyboard I received looks great and has a nice big volume knob, BUT the *keys don't have a smooth feel at all*. The Shift and Backspace keys are sometimes hard to actuate. I'm investigating with iBuyPower if I can buy a higher-end keyboard. They keyboard is really the weak point of this machine. I like that it has two antennas for WiFi on the back of the machine. The WiFi supports 5GHz, which is important because the 2.4GHz band is often crowded. My son reports the performance is good, better than a console game, even for games stored on the slower HDD.
