Wow; this keyboard cover is outstanding! I bought this for my middle schooler who was given a MacBook by the school. He was new to the MacBook iOS and unfamiliar with how to use keyboard shortcuts but this changed the game for him. Other kids at school ask him about it because he’s become very adept at operating the MacBook due to being able to see how the shortcuts are performed. He’s told me several times about how much he loves the keyboard cover. On to the specifics: 1) It’s color-coded. This is super helpful for learning the key combinations. 2) It fits like a glove. No liquid, crumbs, or dust can get in between the keys while it’s on. 3) It’s easy to clean. Just wipe it down and slap it back on. 4) It’s doesn’t leave any sticky residue. 5) It’s thick enough to be very durable. It’s never ripped or frayed and has held up very well (keep in mind my middle schooler is using it and he’s in that clumsy stage). 6) But, it’s not so thick that it’s hard to type. My son has never complained about having difficulty typing with it on. 7) It’s functional beyond merely protecting the keyboard because of the shortcuts printed on the keys. If you’re on the fence about whether this is a worthwhile purchase, let me assure you that it is. I’m going to get a second for when my other son get’s his school MacBook because I don’t think my older son will be willing to give his up. Buy it. You won’t regret it.

fits perfectly on my Macbook, my old one had worn thin (half the keys were transparent) so it was about time for a new one. If you tip your computer to a 90 degree angle it will fall off.. but for most people that isn't a concern. Aside from being basically vertical or upsidedown it stays on very well. Its smooth and not sticky, has that nice silicone cover feel. a tad on the thinner side but my last one was kinda hard to type with so I don't mind. The WASD keys are losing their color but it's been 4 months of CONSTANT use. I spend about 6-7 hours per day online between schooling, work and gaming. For the price this is great quality. If you type a bit gentler than me or just touch grass it will probably hold up a bit better but factoring in my aggressive typing its held up well. (the last cover was tossed because it literally ripped, you can see a few keys missing in the photo)

I never had anything like this but when I bought my new MacBook Pro a few weeks ago, I ordered a protective case which came with a simple, "frosted" keyboard cover. I sort of liked it...but found it to have too much texture. Then I found this with shortcuts on the keys - love it. It's thinner than the frosted keyboard I started with and less textured so my fingertip motion is smoother. Typing is natural, almost indistinguishable from the Mac keyboard. The shortcuts are really helpful. The fit over the MacBook keys is excellent. Very happy with the purchase and highly recommend if you want to protect your keys, prevent dust getting inside your machine, and have shortcuts right in front of you on the keypad.

Since MacBook turns keyboard brightness automatically when its dark you cannot see light through mask so it makes it hard to type in dark sometimes

I got this keyboard cover to help me remember all the shortcuts for my MacBook Pro, and it’s been a game changer. The layout is super clear, and it fits my keyboard perfectly. It’s also thin enough that it doesn’t mess with typing at all. If you do any kind of creative work or just want to speed things up, this is a great little upgrade. Plus, it keeps the keyboard clean!

It's about 20 shades lighter gray then it looks on the website that's for sure, I thought I was going to get pretty dark matte finish but this is like a transparent light white grayish it's pretty ugly I don't know which macbook Collier this would actually look good on in a very flash of light environments with bright light it goes through this whitish transparent layer and it does look dark but that's in very few conditions where it's like very bright on your keyboard so and I guess you'd say low light conditions when I'm sitting in my room my bedroom and I only have like one light on and it's on the laptop arm look at it it just looks like it's not even the same item I ordered pretty much it's just yeah it's very ugly they made it to like colored I guess I can't say it enough man I it's just kind of head scratching and mind-boggling like which laptop do they put this on I put it on my midnight colored MacBook error keyboard also and it's pretty ugly as well does not look or a match any of the MacBooks at all any other colors I don't know I wish they made the letters transparent so the light can shine through from others that I have seen and that I'm probably going to replace this one with the key shortcuts the way they're labeled at first I could not figure it out and I still actually on some of them don't know the plate the placement of the wording is very strange It kind of tricked me into thinking of the other way around other than that I think it looks like it's durable It was pretty cheap It will protect it if it's nicely it's probably easy to clean I haven't tried yet but it's pretty dang ugly dude.

This is nice to know all the shortcuts. I only had it about 6 months and it was wearing and becoming loose. I do a lot of typing though.
