I’ve tried so many hair oils, and this is definitely one of my favorites. It leaves my hair looking incredibly shiny and feeling soft without weighing it down. I especially love how well it controls frizz—it really helps keep my heat-styled curls smooth and in place. The scent is also a pleasant, light floral that isn’t overpowering. At first, the price might make you hesitate. It’s not the cheapest option out there, and I definitely had to think twice before purchasing. One bottle lasted me a whole year and then some, which makes the cost much more justifiable. So at first I really didn’t like the smell I almost returned it. But the more it stayed on my hair the smell goes away and it smells very nice after. Not just that, it makes your hair super soft and shiny ! I got this for my toddler since she has curls and I almost got the curl cream but I couldn’t afford both so her teacher said try the oil. It’s ok on her but her ends are still very dry. I’ve had a hard time finding stuff for her but it’s ok I’ll keep looking. It’s a small bottle but you don’t need much ! A little goes a long way ! My mom really loved it too so now I’m sharing the small bottle lol we may go half’s on the big bottle I have thin hair btw so does my mom and it worked great not heavy or greasy ! Update: after watching videos and trying it again wow 😮 this stuff not only keeps hair soft and the smell goes away !!! It actually leaves your hair smelling really nice ! But it also keeps hair untangled ! My daughter and mother’s hair is thin and knots up fast this was a game changer. The price is ugh 😩 my hubby hates the price but loves the outcome 😂 also doesn’t leave my baby girls hair or mine feeling greasy and I use a fair amount for my long hair. And still so nice !!! I recommend for sure 👍🏽

I purchased this Ouai Hair oil because I was looking for a hair oil that smelled good, was light, calmed down my fly aways, and did not make my hair greasy looking. I have had this hair oil for about a month and a half now and am very satisfied with how well it works. Pros: Dispenses a small but sufficient amount. The smell is good but not too strong. Calms down flyaways. Cons: You have to wash your hands after using it or the oil will get on everything. I am overall satisfied with this hair oil and would recommend it to anyone that is looking for a light, good smelling hair oil to calm the hair and leave a shiny and fresh hairstyle.

This OUAI Hair Oil might just be liquid confidence in a bottle. I’ve tried plenty of “miracle oils,” but this one actually delivers — like, smooth, shiny, main-character-hair delivers. First off, the scent? Subtle but luxurious — like something you’d smell in a chic Paris apartment, not a salon trying too hard. The texture is light, not greasy, and it somehow manages to make my hair look glossy without that heavy “I just deep-fried my ends” look. It’s packed with Ama oil for strength, Baobab seed oil for hydration, and galangal root extract for UV protection (which is basically sunscreen for your color-treated hair). It even protects up to 450°F, so my flat iron and I can stay friends without guilt. I’ve used it both on wet hair before styling and dry hair after blowouts, and it works beautifully either way. It tames frizz instantly, gives a silky finish, and somehow makes my split ends disappear like magic. Bonus: a few drops go a long way, so the bottle lasts forever. My hair is curly, low porosity and dry, so it gets tangled a lot between wash days and I’ve tried so many different hair oils but this is THE one. I use one pump before I go to bed and sometimes in the morning if my hair is frizzy. It does not weigh down my hair at all, it makes it shiny and smells amazing. I purchased it twice so far and although it is pricy, it lasts longer than I expected. I would definitely recommend if you have curly and dry hair.

Came quick and smells good and helps with frizz, but I’m not sure if it’s because it’s just the travel size version, but it didn’t come in a box or anything? It just had a label and was in my package. Ouai should be able to do better with packaging.

I won't ever order this again even though I absolutely love this hair oil. It works really well on my thin hair without weighing it down and smells divine BUT .... when I first ordered it from here, it was $11.99 for the exact same size. That was about 15 months ago. In that time, they have jacked up the price to nearly 3 X the original price. Talk about greedy!!! I don't feed the greedy.

Smells amazing and really nice for the hair

Smells like all my favourite flowers together, and helps smooth down and control my frizz for 24 hours at a time without looking greasy. I have thin, collar-length hair and find one pump smoothed across both palms and worked through damp hair does the job.
