Review: A Magical Book Nook - I loved this, it’s a great fun project to build and results in a wonderful magical book nook, that lights up beautifully and you almost wish you could step inside and explore its cosiness. It’s not easy to build, but the instructions are easy to follow and precise and comes with all the materials and tools you need. Although I didn’t rush it, it does take time to build, but the pieces are precision cut, fit together really well and it’s a sturdy little scene. I’ve since bought two more - more for the fun of building them, but neither has the build quality of this one.
Review: Good little book nook. - Lovely little book nook. Really enjoyed completing this. Make sure you purchase some super glue. I used 5 3g tubes of it. Also when removing the pieces from the board make sure you use a craft knife to trace around the edge to cut the seal holding the piece in place. If you do not then you could risk breaking some delicate parts. There are no stickers in this kit which I liked as it make the kit last longer. The instructions are colourful and easy to follow. The finished product is beautiful.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good little book nook.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Well designed for straightforward build, without being so simple it's boring!
*by R***H on 12 November 2024*

This was a really fun kit to make. A couple of pieces were exceptionally fragile - the 2 quills and the hanging light (not the candelabra) - and snapped. Wood glue was able to mend them, and I used some dimensional magic (resin-like stuff) to strrengthen them and give a bit of glass bottle-like shine in the process. I used a piece of thread on the back of the light to keep it in place while the glue dried. Almost everything fits together really snugly, with very few gaps. A few bits needed more care to ensure that they stayed in place while they were dried, but overall the instructions were logically ordered and very clear. All in all.a very satisfying piece to build, and I'd happily do another one!
