I use extra hold hairspray on the glass and my prints adhere fine and are easier to remove than with the original Buildtac.I used a thermal pad  ARCTIC Thermal Pad (145 x 145 x 0.5 mm) - Silicone Based Thermal Pad with 6.0W/mK Thermal Conductivity - Flexible and Adaptive  that I cut using the glass as a pattern. I did remove the Buildtac first but I don't know if that is completely necessary. I am not using any clips and the thermal pad seems to hold the glass in place - no slipping or lifting.So why use glass? It's a personal preference but I like that the base of my prints have a mirror smooth surface and I also like the ease with which I can remove my prints using a small spatula.I use a glass bed on my other 3D printers and you should know that it is possible for glass to warp. If you start having issues that seem to indicate an unleveled bed, consider glass warpage. You can place a straight edge on the glass and tell easily if the glass has warped. So far, this piece of glass is flat but I know from experience that they can warp later so keep that in mind. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great replacement for the standard Monoprice Mini Delta bed. *by J***. on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on April 25, 2020* If you own a mini delta from monoprice, this is a nice upgrade for the bed. I use it with a thermal pad to transfer the heat from the aluminum base to the glass and it sticks in place nicely. The standard print surface on my Mini Delta started to tear (Those things don't last forever and you are expected to replace it.) The best way to remove the old print surface is to heat up the print bed to maximum temp 60C, and then slowly work around the edge to peel it up. It helps if you have a thin flexible metal spatula or a painting knife.You can print directly to the glass. If you do I would advise to heat up the bed to increase adhesion with PLA. I would also advise you increase the the "initial layer height" & "initial layer width" so that it extrudes more plastic on the initial layer to grab the glass surface. If you still need some extra adhesion after that, rub a standard glue stick over the surface of the glass, let it dry, then print on top of that. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sturdy, solid, and flat *by S***K on Reviewed in the United States 🇺🇸 on April 7, 2019* For those curious about how to adhere this to the print bed, I recommend a silicone pad for best performance. However, if you have some poster tack handy, it works quite well. I saw that recommended on a forum somewhere a while back, and I have found it works quite well. I don't think the heat transference is as good as the silicone mats are, but if you get it thin enough and cover enough area it works perfectly fine (for PLA at least, haven't tested anything else) and is much easier to find at a local craft store (Elmer's has some called "Removable Adhesive Tack" that I use)In general with this printer, I highly recommend printing out adjustable replacement bed clips for the MPMD before using this and adjusting the clips so that the bed switches engage at the slightest touch. As a quick audio test, whenever I replace or adjust the bed, I adjust the clip so that pressing down on the edge of the build plate, halfway between two of the clips you can hear BOTH leveling switches engage easily (requiring only minimal force). I also press down on the very center and listen for all 3 to engage.
