Works well
So far, so good. Have used this product three times so far, and it seems to be doing an excellent job. I love how it goes up the walls of my above-ground pool and cleans all the way up to the coping. It's a little bit of a hassle to take the bag out and wash it out, but as I said, it does a great job cleaning. The price is right as well.

Exceeded My Expectations
I love this pool vacuum. I started out with a cheaper ($140ish) battery powered pool vacuum in another brand and it didn’t even last three days. After a lot of research I finally decided to buy a corded vacuum and am so happy I chose this one. I’ve kept my vacuum in the pool most of the season and there are a lot of trees around our pool so I turn the vacuum on 2 or 3 times per day on some days. It gets everything in one cycle and even climbs the walls of our 24 ft above ground pool. The cord floats and never gets in the way of the vacuum. I only have to empty the vacuum/ clean the filter out every 2 weeks or so. It holds a lot and the filter bag filters very fine particles. The entire inside of the bag could be full of leaves and gross debris, and the outside still looks perfectly clean. I’m amazed by that! When it’s time to clean the filter bag out I usually empty as much of the debris as possible, spray it down with a water hose, and run it through the washing machine by itself. It’s very easy to reinstall the filter bag afterward.

Decent company, lousy performance! Not even 2 years old and the drive wheels fell off.
When everything is perfect, this works fairly well. Our experience shows four issues. Least important is the quirky start button. If it is on from the last cleaning, you cannot turn it off and on to restart. You must turn it off and wait a little while before restarting or it will appear on but never move. Second is the scrub pattern revealed by algae on wall shows it cleans streaks, not surfaces. You will still have to scrub your own walls if you let your get out of balance. Third, you have to check it occasionally to make sure it doesn't get hung up on steps in the shallow end. It has no issue with straight steps, but curving steps in a curved corner can hang it up until you move it. It doesn't happen every time thank goodness. Fourth, and most important, this hose is so kinky, it should be X rated. They recommend taking it out of the pool every day and I see why. Every time it runs it goes round and round in the same direction until the hose is totally kinked up. It takes two people stretching it out and manhandling the unit round and round and round to get it back to normal. I cannot recommend this unit for curved wall pools like our kidney shape. I assume without evidence this would not be an issue in a rectangle, but don't rely on that guess. Build quality is OK, but without some sort of program correction to avoid single direction twisting, this is a do not buy product.

Great entry level Dolphin vacuum!
Great little vacuum. Cleans my 30x15 foot rectangular pool just fine. Love the cloth filter because it picks up everything. Hope the cloth is durable enough to last a few years. I try to use it about 3 times a week. Pool stays pretty clean. I recommend this unit for sure.

Good Cleaning Robot
This robot works as described and does a good job on our pool. I usually ru it for two cycles just to be thorough. It’s easy to clean, set up, and use. Just throw it in and turn on.

Constantly Gets Hung up on Center Drains
I like that this is a powered cleaner without a battery. Cordless are so unreliable. It does clean and will climb walls. However, for my above ground pool it constantly, and I mean CONSTANTLY will get stuck on the center drains. My drains protrude an inch or so...all standard. But the cleaner will climb over it and the flat bottom of the cleaner sits on top of the drain. The tracks are then stranded and cannot move. I do like this product but for the cost I have to send back. I have to find something that does not get hung up on the center drain. Also, if you have the beveled or whatever its called above ground liner, where there is a slight incline to the wall under the liner, this cleaner is hit or miss if it will climb the wall or just stop and go the other direction. I also have a pool ladder where I noticed the robot climbed the first step and then just got hung up. It just stayed in that spot. Over all, this really is a good cleaner. But for my specific above ground pool, it just gets stuck too many times for the price. I would recommend this to others without center drains and flat liners.

Works great!
Only thing I don’t like about it is that you have to turn it on and off for each use, there is no way to set it to automatically clean periodically

very easy to assemble and get started. easy to clean quite heavy to lift from the water to the pool side but I found that using a hook made that easy Altogether, value for money and very easy to operate

A reasonably priced robot cleaner that cleans the wall as well the floor of a medium size pool efficiently and, so far for me at least, reliably. The more or less budget price means you don't get a programmable controller; the machine has to be switched on manually, (it switches off automatically at the end of a run cycle). So be prepared to have to switch the machine on well before you want a swim. The filter is efficient at retaining the debris it vacuums up but cleaning the filter bag is fiddly and isn’t as easy as cleaning the filter cassettes fitted to more expensive models but it’s got a large capacity so you won’t have to do it too often. Being a Dolphin, spare parts seem relatively widely available here in theUK which hasn't been my experience with other manufacturers. All in all, a good machine for the price from a well-known manufacturer but if you want more bells and whistles and easier maintenance you may need to consider moving up the range and spending a bit more.
