I'm a female, but OI decided to try Alpecin caffeine Shampoo event though it's marketed for men, and I 'm glad I did. A small amount goes along way, and it rinses out easily without leaving any residue. After using it for some time my hair feels stronger and fuller, I noticed baby hair was growing however, after stop using it so did the hair growth. I am back to using it aging and it seems that you have keep using it for a better lasting result. Overall, I liked the product and do not mind keep using it

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I like the way it makes my scalp feel and my hair smell. It’s really a great product. Although I like the original scent better. Also I buy Alpecin because it’s a great product and Alpecin supports cycling. From the UCI teams to our local Crits, Tulsa Tough, Alpecin is there to support cycling, so I support Alpecin.

I keep buying it because i like the product. But lets not kid ourselves and pretend like this is helping your hair loss. It doesnt and wont.

My hair is thinning. It’s also quite fine. This shampoo makes it stand up a little bit better. Makes me look like I have a little more hair than I really do. It helps prevent shedding. My hair always feels clean. I recommend using Shampoo conditioner. The black edition is my favorite. The shampoo is the same, in the blue bottle and in the black bottle. The Black Edition as a way cooler bottle. It also has a nice gentle scent. The blue bottle one has no scent. This is the best shampoo I’ve used in years. I would recommend that the company import just the black bottle, and forget about the blue bottle edition.

I’ve only had this product for short time, 2nd bottle, and what I’ve noticed so far is that this product has greatly stopped my hair loss; but it will take another month or so to see rejuvenation and/or hair growth, as that is a longer process from what I have researched. But, for now, I am very pleased with the almost complete stoppage of hair loss, which is a major plus; so, I’ll keep using this product even if hair growth doesn’t return, for it has stopped my hair loss greatly. Update to this review; works so good that I just bought 2 more bottles for me and 1 for my wife.
