It is an excellent computer and my go-to tech. It is well-made and looks good. I first bought an ASUS Chromebook for my mother, who struggled with Windows. I quickly realised that the Chromebook OS suited my lifestyle now that I have retired. It is quick to load up and perfect for emails, web browsing, video conferencing, and YouTube. It is fast, responsive, and ideal for my needs. Google has a comprehensive suite of apps, and my Windows laptop is only used for programs that are not cloud-based. Cloud storage is the way ahead and allows me to synch with my android phone: a perfect battery life and a good quality screen. I thoroughly recommend this product.

It has taken me awhile to get used to not having Microsoft Word, but now that I have more or less got my head around how to use Google Docs, I am very impressed with this laptop. Quick tip to those like myself and need to share my screen when using Skype, you must make sure that all of your Google Docs & files are available "offline" This took me 2 weeks to figure out! Overall, very impressed with the speed, screen quality and battery life, although the claimed "10 hour" battery life is an exaggeration, it's still good for a few hours, but certainly not 10. In my opinion, well worth the £250 I paid.👍

This is a good product and I find it ideal for sofa use and for travelling especially on long flights and lengthy airport waits. - The screen quality is good and it is plenty fast enough for everything except perhaps gaming. It is all plastic but I don't mind that as it is also light and slim. Keyboard has a nice feel and not too cramped and the trackpad works well. It is backlit when it needs to be and is easy to read in all lights. A SD slot would be nice but 128Gb is enough to store a lot of movies. All in all, for me, a better option than a tablet. Battery life good enough for for a day's travelling with watching 2 or 3 movies so no complaints although could maybe do with a bit more capacity. All in all, a good machine that I think will give a good few years of service. Plays fairly nicely with an Android phone too so no connectivity worries.

Switched from 5 year old Lenovo laptop which cost 4 X as much as this did. Looking for a replacement laptop on a budget, was wary about buying a Chromebook as never had one before. I was mainly concerned about quality of build, keyboard & screen, offline functionality & lack of memory & storage. Needn't have worried, build & keyboard are fine & display quality & brightness almost as good as the high-resolution display on my old Laptop. Chrome OS is easy to use, 8gb memory & 128gb SSD are fine for running this OS. Added bonus was 12 months of Google Pro with 2TB cloud storage & premium AI festures (I believe this offer finished 31st Jan 26). Overall very pleased so far.

Great Chromebook, does I want to do

it does it very well. It has active heating dissipation therefore it might become a bit warm if used for long placed on laptop but that is not excessive. This likely impacts the battery life, which I was hoping to be a bit longer but that's not bad anyway, it's a Chromebook afterall. Being a Chromebook also means there are some differences to the usual standard operations: there is no del key, only backspace to cancel, and on this one double tap on the touchpad does not allow to drag, but it is required to keep pressing the touchpad when selecting word of dragging a map or a window on the screen. The keyboard is very good, as well as the screen and the overall building quality. It has a very convenient and easy way to communicate with an android phone, which also allows to get internet connection without entering the tethering settings every time. Weight is excellent as well as responsiveness, it is very quick to respond to inputs and to load webpages. At this price it is easy to recommend this Chromebook.

Boot time takes few seconds, all necessary apps are available. Touchpad is smooth and easy to use and just browsing web I could easily 10+ hours of baterry life. HP Printer setup took less than minute and all bluetooth devices just works. It can easily replace your windows laptop for all media consumption, web browsing, etc. Is it suitable for gaming? Well, Yes and No. You can run Google Play games, plus there is GeForce Now and Steam app for ChromeOS too. However, not all games would run out-of-the-box, some won't run and some need some tinkering. Chromebook's keyboard has very useful features and dedicated buttons, but it takes some time to get used to it, but It can improve productivity and overall ChromeOS experience up!

I've never had a Chromebook before but just wanted a device predominantly for easier web browsing for those times that apps and mobile browsers just don't cut the mustard. Opted for this one as it had a good saving on it (though I don't always trust those "was THIS! now THIS!" offers on here, but I have to say - I'm really pleased! It's lightning fast to operate and really easy to navigate. The screen looks great and everything is integrated seamlessly with my phone. Better yet, the device itself told me that as this is actually a Chromebook Plus it meant I get the £18.99 a month AI and storage upgrade for free for 12 months. I was already paying for the 2TB memory upgrade for £8 a month so it's saved me £96 in the first year already - even better! No regrets whatsoever in getting this and can highly recommend it to anyone.
