Item arrived on time and in new condition
This is a great price for a great AVR, the RZ50 is a great sounding receiver with the ability to use both legacy components, and high quality audio and video connections. The RZ50 is powerful and has most of the high end features and performance to match much more expensive receivers, including Dirac live, and THX certification.

Incredible Receiver for Any Setup
I’ve been using the Onkyo TX-RZ50 for a few months now, and I’m seriously impressed. Whether it’s movie nights, gaming, or just listening to music, this receiver handles everything with ease. The sound is top-notch, especially if you’re running a Dolby Atmos setup like I am. The nine channels give you that full immersive experience, with clear, rich sound coming from all directions. One of my favorite things about this receiver is how easy it is to control. The app makes it super convenient to adjust settings and switch between modes, whether I’m watching a movie or cranking up some tunes. Speaking of music, it’s great for streaming—whether it’s from my phone, Apple AirPlay, or even high-res tracks off a USB drive. The video performance is fantastic, too. The 4K/120 HDMI inputs are perfect for my next-gen gaming console and Blu-ray player, and everything looks crisp and sharp. It also does a great job calibrating the sound to my room with Dirac Live—honestly, the room correction makes a huge difference. Overall, the TX-RZ50 is a powerhouse and a perfect fit for a home theater or audio setup. If you’re looking for great sound, video, and a bunch of streaming options in one package, this is the receiver to go for.

A lot for the money!
I was hesitant to buy this 'renewed,' considering the price. However, considering the discount and return policy -- figured I'd give it a shot. I'm glad. Maybe I got lucky, but this seemed brand new. Everything still filmed and sealed. Coincidentally, tonight I received a different 'new' product that was definitely used. For the product itself, I needed to replace my 14 year old dead Onkyo 7.2 receiver. I wanted something that supported the latest codecs (Atmos, True-HD, etc) and my existing 7.2 speakers. This fit the bill. Plenty of connections. Generates loud enough audio with my two powered subs to irritate my entire culdesac. I did a LOT of research on home theater receivers. All of them seem to have flaws unless you're spending much more than what this costs. Audiophiles recommend amps and gear dedicated for music, not movies, if you want the best audio quality. A particular flaw listed with Onkyo receivers is that over a certain volume, you could trigger a sort of 'limp mode' where it will limit how much power it will push to the speakers until a power reset. I have pushed these far enough to listen to music in my front yard with all the doors/windows closed and haven't noticed this. Perhaps a firmware update fixed it. This seems to be a great value for the money. Even greater if you buy renewed!

good value
was taking a gamble, but this renewed unit with an extended warranty was still way cheaper than retail new. It arrived and looked, and packed as new. 100% defect free. Works like a champ. The remote is a bit "cheaper" than my Denon, but my Denon bit the dust, and has fewer repair facilities in the US. So far I'm liking this Onkyo.

Awesome!
Works great! Nice to have an awesome A/V Receiver for half the price. No dings, packed in original box. Sooooo many features and buttons for the audio techie, simple setup for the regular person like me. I'm moving from a 2.1 Yamaha to a 9.1 setup. DIRAC is my next step, but the improvement is already so phenomenal that I'm taking my time with that next step.

Verify immediately if the system doesn't perform.
The receiver continues to reset to factory settings, every time its restarted. I have conducted every recommended procedure and no process has been successful. I checked the Onyko website and my model doesn't come up. I purchased this at a discount price and now I have to send it back disregarding the thousands I have spent on theater speakers.
