It’s a simple thing, but I’m a back pack wearer. For work and travel. And when the temps call for a coat for part of the day, carrying around a jacket the rest of the time gets annoying. This cinches around the jacket nicely and keeps it close but out of the way.The clip is metal and plastic but strong. The clip ring is nice and big to fit around and through many areas. And the strap adjusts to everything I’ve used it for.

This strap is great for travel or anyone who likes to have a sweater or jacket just in case. Snaps onto purse .Bought one in black and one in taupe to match my purses.

Just used this daily on a long international trip where I needed a coat in the morning but not later in the day. It attaches well to anything: a belt loop, the strap of my purse, backpack or carry-on. It's adjustable and can corral either a big fat puffy winter coat or a light -weight sweater or jacket. While using it, I was repeatedly stopped and asked about where I had found it. I know I will continue to use it both went travelling and here where I live, when the weather dictates taking a jacket along for day trips. No more accidently leaving a jacket or sweather behind when fumbling with multiple things that need to be carried. I'm ordering more to give as gifts to my traveling friends.

Overall, I like the streamlined construction of this over other “add a bag” straps, and it works well with my Rimowa, Tumi, and CalPak luggage. However, I agree with other reviewers that th O ring needs improvement. I swapped it with an extra carabiner I had.

This strap is a must have for anyone who travels in the winter or a lot, it is great to hook your jacket on, keeps it in place, and it’s not falling off your suitcase in the airport, also it’s great to hook your backpack to it as well

The media could not be loaded. I'm very disappointed by this product. It felt well-made, but the clip itself doesn't stay clipped. It pops open with the slightest pressure. I lost my jacket on a train in Europe when it popped open on my backpack during a crowded transfer & we didn't notice until it was too late. I would give it zero stars if I could. The jacket was not heavy or bulky. I've added a video of how easily it pops open to show it's a defective, low-quality item, even though it's brand new. Do not trust this product unless you are ok with losing your stuff. I'm returning it, but I'll never get my jacket back.

Buckle clasp is legit, round clip hooked to my bag broke in the airport parking lot after my return home. Clip might be plastic? Now I need to replace it with a metal carabiner …

Had it for years now and it keeps my coat clipped and secure when I travel between climates.
